As a lifestyle expert with a penchant for unconventional experiences, I find Anna Kendrick‘s latest adventure quite intriguing. Her Halloween escapade with Brittany Snow, reminiscent of a modern-day Alice in Wonderland, is a testament to their unique bond and the power of psychedelics to bring out creativity.
Anna Kendrick has some sweet company in Brittany Snow.
The leading actress from “Woman of the Hour” (also directing a thriller for the first time) disclosed that she went to a Halloween gathering along with her fellow star from “Pitch Perfect” last year. Matters soon spiraled into an unexpectedly trippy situation.
Anna shared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (Oct. 23) that she attended a party where someone offered her microdosing mushrooms. She explained these were small chocolate bars, and everyone took a square. To be cautious, even with her microdose, she decided to split it in half and consume only half of it.
However, her caution was unavailing, for she soon discovered that the hallucinogenic substance doesn’t always blend uniformly within chocolate.
On occasion, a single dose might be significantly stronger than expected, more like a full dose instead of a microdose. For instance, at a gathering, I experimented with mushrooms for the first time and found myself extremely intoxicated. I kept repeating, ‘Oh no, oh I’m so high. Oh God, I’m so high.’ I couldn’t seem to stop saying it. (The Twilight alum clarified)
That’s when, she said, her pal came to her rescue in the most unlikely way.
Brittany, acting as a brave soul, picked up more mushrooms to join me, she shared. And there we were, cornered at the party, our faces beaming with Joker-like grins while tears streamed down, but we felt fantastic. I couldn’t help but exclaim, “You’re so stunning! No, you are the one who is beautiful!
Beyond the compliments, the pair’s altered state also led to an interesting spark of creativity.
During the party, Brittany adorned small gems on her face that harmonized with the Los Angeles skyline, Anna remarked. Impressed, I exclaimed, “You’re a creative genius!” and suggested she reconsider remaking the film ‘Chinatown’, as these were my profound insights after consuming mushrooms.
Anna ended her story with a warning to viewers: “Learn from my mistakes, kids!”
The actress has made it clear that she’s open to starring in another “Pitch Perfect” movie, should one be produced.
Anna stated to TopMob News on October 10th that Rebel Wilson was essentially leading the charge on the issue. She’s quite a forceful and influential person, almost like a powerful steam train. So, there’s a part of me that thinks if anyone can bring this about, it’s likely her. I’ll leave it in her capable hands,” is one way to paraphrase the given sentence.
