Anna Kendrick Says Paul Feig Made A Simple Favor 2 “Even Crazier”

As a dedicated follower and fan of the enchanting world of cinema, I can confidently say that Paul Feig is a magician weaving his spellbinding tales. With Anna Kendrick, Blake Lively, and Henry Golding gearing up for the anticipated sequel of “A Simple Favor,” there was an initial skepticism in my heart, just like Anna herself admitted. However, Paul’s uncanny ability to make the impossible possible proved me wrong, as he elevated the craziness quotient of the movie even further.

To put it simply, Paul Feig did us all a favor.

Featuring once again Anna Kendrick, Blake Lively, and Henry Golding in the upcoming sequel of “A Simple Favor,” some questions about its comparison to the original are understandable. Even the talented actress from “Pitch Perfect” initially harbored doubts.

In an exclusive conversation with TopMob News, I found myself pondering the thought of crafting a sequel, and it felt something like, “How can we surpass the brilliance of the original?” However, in the capable hands of Paul, this new project has transformed into an even more outrageous spectacle.

Meanwhile, as Paul, known for films like “Bridesmaids” and “Freaks and Geeks,” tackled the extraordinary, Anna found comfort in the presence of acquaintances she recognized.

She confessed that she was genuinely pleased because many of the same people were involved in the filmmaking, as this was her initial acting role following my debut as a director.

Initially, I was quite anxious about stepping onto a film set and being perceived as someone who believes they know it all after directing just one movie. However, Paul and John reassured me by saying, “She’s always been like this. She’s always had strong opinions and an inquisitive nature.” At least they recognized that’s just my character.

It seemed quite fitting that the 39-year-old launched her directorial career with her Netflix movie, “Woman of the Hour”, which is based on a true story about a serial killer who appeared on “The Dating Game”. However, she acknowledged experiencing a touch of self-doubt, or imposter syndrome, throughout the process.

In my experience, I often felt apprehensive as if someone might expose me for not knowing everything there is to know, but instead, I was fortunate enough to work alongside incredibly gifted individuals, creating unforgettable moments.

Despite the fact that I’m constantly fueled by a dash of caffeine and the wisdom shared by an extraordinary mentor, I’ve been relentlessly pursuing my dreams. In a remarkable turn of events, I’m thrilled to announce that I, Anna, am teaming up with Keurig and their latest invention, K-Brew+Chill! This collaboration is all about inspiring everyone to ignite their wildest aspirations, much like the refreshing rush of the McCafé Iced Mocha Frappe, my go-to pick-me-up. Let’s face it, I’m nothing if not a dedicated homebody, and on lazy days, I can’t imagine anything better than savoring a cold, invigorating drink that helps me keep pushing forward.

With an iced coffee held tightly, she phoned Paul directly as soon as she settled into the director’s chair, seeking his valuable advice.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but gush over the unexpected transformation I witnessed from none other than Hollywood’s beloved nice guy, Paul. Known for his perpetual grin and optimistic demeanor, he’s like sunshine personified!

She went on, “It was incredibly intense.” She added, “I believe my eyes must have popped out if you could see them over the phone. It was amazing.
