Ant and Dec have spoken about the potential continuation of their widely loved weekend program, Saturday Night Takeaway, following a prolonged break that began after the show completed its record-breaking 20th season.
As a passionate movie lover, I can’t help but express my admiration for this show that captured the hearts of the British audience. With its diverse mix of skits, pranks, and challenges, such as the iconic ‘Win the Ads’, it offered something for everyone. Instead, they pointed out that spending more time with family was a major reason for ending the long-standing series following this year’s finale in April.
During the summer break, many individuals have been encouraging me by saying, ‘Now that you’re rested, it’s time for another season!’
Ant went on to say: “A lady on the red carpet told me tonight: ‘Alright then, since you’ve had your baby, get back to hosting Saturday Night Takeaway!’ But it’s not that straightforward.
As a die-hard film enthusiast, I’ve got my fingers crossed that there might be more Saturday Night Takeaway in the pipeline. However, it seems like we’re in for a long break, with no definite return date on the horizon.
Dec remarked, ‘It’s time for a break,'” he said, “We’ve received an overwhelmingly positive response, yet many are urging us to get back to our tasks.
It’s worth mentioning that this pause in the show isn’t unprecedented – back in 2009 to 2013, Saturday Night Takeaway also took a break for four years. This suggests that there could be a possibility of the show coming back stronger at some point in the future.
During this period, Ant and Dec will continue appearing on their exciting game show, Limitless Win, as well as the long-standing reality series, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, which they have been a part of for quite some time.
