According to publisher NIS America, the upcoming Trails game titled “Trails beyond the Horizon” will now be released in the next year.
Back in 2024, the Role-Playing Game (RPG) saw its premiere in Japan. But here in the west, we were looking forward to an autumn release, which is now moved to January 2026. This epic adventure will be available on all platforms, including both the PS5 and PS4. So mark your calendars, fellow gamers!
Unfortunately, it turns out that the latest entry in the Trails series wasn’t released yet, which means the western part of the world will have to hold off a bit longer before fully catching up with the series.
Despite the current situation, there’s something to look forward to! Let’s remember that on the 19th of September, we’ll be getting our hands on Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, which is a brand-new version of the original adventure.
It’s quite possible that NISA delayed Horizon’s release due to the success of the 1st Chapter launch. Releasing two substantial Trails games in quick succession could seem excessive, given their length.
“How do you feel about this recent development – are you disheartened or does it all seem logical? Please ask Van to hop back into his vehicle, as suggested in the comment area below.
