It seems that the long-awaited release date for the highly anticipated indie action game, Lost Soul Aside, might be announced during today’s State of Play event.
For almost ten years, we’ve been following the progress of this project by UltiZero Games from China, and it looks like the end is finally in sight! Towards the end of last year, a fresh gameplay trailer was unveiled, confirming that the game will be launched in 2025.
Following the speculation sparked by its retweet of Sony’s live stream announcement, the studio seems to have almost definitively stated that the game will be presented in the event. They expressed this confirmation by writing “Yes” on their Twitter account.
Initially created by a single individual, PlayStation later incorporated Lost Soul Aside into its China Hero Project development assistance program after it gained popularity. The game has been in the works for quite some time now, but Sony appears ready to publish it on both PS5 and PC this year, with a release date likely to be revealed during State of Play.
