Apprentice Star Slams Lord Sugar: ‘Not My Dream Business Partner Anyway!’

**Warning: Contains spoilers for The Apprentice 2025.**

As The Apprentice approaches its final two episodes, Lord Sugar faces a challenging choice: letting go of two contestants to pave the way for the remaining five, each eagerly competing for the opportunity to collaborate with him in his upcoming business ventures.

One contestant who didn’t seize the chance was Liam Snellin, the proprietor of a workwear brand, whom several spectators believed would excel in tonight’s assignment, yet events didn’t unfold as anticipated.

Tonight, the contestants faced a series of challenges as they were asked to conceptualize a collection, establish a brand, and eventually present their work in a fashion show to potential investors.

Unfortunately for Liam, he didn’t get the role of project manager, and a sequence of challenges within the broader team led to him, Jordan Dargan, Anisa Khan, and Mia Collins finding themselves in a tense board meeting.

Following careful consideration, it was ultimately Liam and Mia who were let go during the selection procedure. Looking back, Liam feels content that he successfully completed all ten tasks, a feat which he acknowledges satisfies his personal goals.

He said, “By the stage I was at, I felt as though he hadn’t grasped the essentials of the fashion industry and apparel business.

Though he’s a fantastic role model and excels in business, I’m looking for someone with specific industry expertise. While Lord Sugar has knowledge within the clothing sector, I believe he didn’t fully grasp the unique nature of my business – it’s about creating stylish and comfortable men’s clothing.

Liam went on to explain, “He repeatedly told me during our interactions that men generally don’t worry about their looks or that construction workers don’t prioritize their appearance at work sites. To me, this is precisely why I’ve started my business.

As a passionate film enthusiast, if someone fails to align with my creative vision, it’s crucial for me that they don’t become my business partner.

I found myself admiring Liam as he pressed on with his enterprise, even after parting ways with Lord Sugar’s investment. He shared exciting news about his venture, Comodo Workwear, revealing their imminent launch of an innovative “up-cycled clothing line”.

“And I’m really looking forward to that, because that does show sustainable fashion.”
