A user on the r/MySims subreddit seems to have stumbled upon EA’s website listings for two unannounced games. The games in question are referred to as “MySims Action Bundle” and “MySims Beacon Bay.” At present, these listings are yet to be confirmed, making it difficult to gauge the credibility of this source. However, fans are brainstorming about the possible contents of these games and when we might hear an official announcement.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve been speculating about the Action Bundle and what games it might include. Most gamers seem to agree that it could potentially house “MySims Agents” and “MySims Heroes”. These titles certainly fit the description, but we can never be completely sure. As for Beacon Bay, it’s a bit of a mystery. You see, it was featured in the Nintendo DS version of “The Sims 3”, and during that time, Electronic Arts (EA) used to create exclusive versions of The Sims games for handheld platforms. Beacon Bay was only found in that specific game. It could be something entirely new, but with some sort of link to the elements introduced in that particular Sims game. For now, we’re left guessing!
Last year saw the launch of the “MySims: Cozy Bundle” on Nintendo Switch, which included updated versions of the first two games from the Sims spin-off series – “MySims” and “MySims: Kingdom”. Given its success, it’s not unexpected that Electronic Arts (EA) could be considering bringing additional games from this series to contemporary systems. It’s also possible that they are planning this move as a way to commemorate the franchise’s anniversary.
Until Electronic Arts (EA) confirms it officially, it’s advisable to approach this news as unverified. Although the likelihood of more MySims games receiving remasters appears plausible, the credibility of the source remains uncertain. The information about these games was posted on Reddit by a relatively new user, which typically triggers caution among moderators. However, the user did provide some video proof of their find on the EA website, and some viewers have suggested that such evidence might be challenging to forge.
Last year, during one of Nintendo’s Direct presentations – typically held in February – the MySims: Cozy Bundle was unveiled for the first time. Now, fans of The Sims are speculating if there might be new announcements about these games during another presentation next month. However, Nintendo hasn’t confirmed any upcoming Direct presentations (except for the Nintendo Switch 2 reveal in April), so we can only guess at this point. If EA is indeed planning to release more remasters, let’s hope they share more details soon.
