Ariana DeBose’s performance as an ambitious chef navigating a chilling culinary conundrum is nothing short of spellbinding.


In the recently released horror movie “House of Spoils,” currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video, the esteemed actress Ariana DeBose plays a driven chef. Her cherished career aspiration swiftly morphs into a terrifying ordeal instead.

In the process of launching a restaurant at a secluded mansion, she encounters a string of peculiar incidents that complicate her high-end dining venture, becoming even more challenging when she seemingly discovers links to the supernatural realm – similar to ‘The Bear’, but with an eerie, haunting twist.

For instance, when we arrived at that house in Budapest, I immediately sensed there were spirits present. I said, ‘Ah, it seems there are already spiritual entities here.’
