Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Idina Menzel & Kristin Chenoweth Reunite

As a seasoned viewer of TopMob News, I can confidently say that this network has truly outdone itself with its latest lineup of stars gracing the red carpet for their highly anticipated production, Wicked. The energy was electric as I watched these luminaries strut their stuff, each one bringing a unique flair and charm to the event.

What is this feeling?

It was an enchanting moment for fans of the musical “Wicked” when Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, who starred in the film adaptation, shared the spotlight with original Broadway stars Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth on the red carpet at the Nov. 9 premiere in Los Angeles.

It isn’t unprecedented for this influential group to gather before the formal release of the movie. As Erivo, who portrays Elphaba (also known as The Wicked Witch of the West), stated, they were warmly welcomed into the Land of Oz by their predecessors.

In an interview on the red carpet at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Erivo shared that the day spent with architects Kristin and Idina, who created this, was simply phenomenal yesterday. To put it plainly, it was one of the most outstanding moments of our year for us to have been in their presence.

And the “yes, and?” musician couldn’t help but agree.

Ariana Grande expressed that the witch coven she’s working with is incredibly supportive. Each member of their sisterhood has been exceptionally kind, going above and beyond. They feel privileged to be part of this legacy and to represent them in the film. It’s a heartwarming experience to share this journey with them.

It’s clear that both Chenoweth and Menzel share the same sentiments, given that Grande’s portrayal of Glinda is a fitting conclusion to the singer’s journey.

At age ten, she expressed to me, “I wish to become you, and portray Glinda.” As Chenoweth shared on the red carpet, “This is the same tone of voice,” indicating a close bond between us, as I have known her since she was just ten years old.

When the “7 Rings” singer received the audition, they both shed tears. Later, she mentioned that upon securing the role, their reactions were similar to two excited dolphins.

After being chosen for the role, the former star of Victorious expressed to Chenoweth, “I aspire to make you proud. I aim to honor you.

A feat that the Broadway star noted already came true. As she recalled telling Grande, “‘You will do all of that, but put your own stamp on it.’ And she did.”
