Ariana Grande has confirmed the release date for her Eternal Sunshine deluxe album.
On Monday, the popular singer disclosed the news via an Instagram post, featuring a picture of herself floating in a white gown. Accompanying the image was a caption that unveiled the title and release date for her upcoming album – “Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead” – which is scheduled to launch on March 28th, 2025.
Earlier, Grande hinted at the arrival of the deluxe version by posting a video on Saturday (March 8th), marking the first anniversary of the original album. The video contained charred remains of her teddy bear and other props from the “We Can’t Be Friends” music video.
When it was first launched, her seventh studio album debuted as No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and remained there for a period of two consecutive weeks.
Grandé earned three Grammy nominations for her album and its tracks. These included a nod for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for the remix of “The Boy Is Mine” featuring Brandy and Monica, recognition for Best Dance Pop Recording for “Yes, And?”, and a nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album.
In January, the singer mentioned to Variety that the deluxe version had already been completed and hinted at a “remarkable project” in the works.
Ariana Grande mentioned that she’s spending a lot of time away currently. She’s looking forward to making her kids feel her absence for a brief moment. She’s eager to catch them off guard with this at some point, but she’s still trying to figure out the best timing in her mind.
“It’s not the end of ‘Peaches’ just yet, but she’s going in the closet for a minute.”
She added: “The album is remarkably succinct; I opted against including extra songs merely for the purpose of filling it out. Instead, the new tunes are brief yet impactful.
Earlier this year, during the Golden Globes, the singer confessed that she has a connection with her seventh album, which is indeed true.
As a devoted admirer, I can confirm there’s a sequel to Eternal Sunshine brewing, though it hasn’t been released yet. However, I’m currently not in the studio working on it.
