As I delve deeper into the fascinating lives of these remarkable individuals, it becomes increasingly evident that their journeys are as diverse and captivating as the roles they played on our screens. From the young prodigies who stole our hearts at an early age to the seasoned veterans who have weathered the storms of Hollywood, each of them has left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry.
Elizabeth Gillies and Victoria Justice experienced a highly successful reunion, which left Ariana Grande feeling quite moved.
Elizabeth and Victoria, who starred alongside Ariana on the Nickelodeon show Victorious from 2010 to 2013 for a span of five seasons, were both present at Seth MacFarlane’s holiday gathering. They took some delightful pictures together during the event.
On her December 17 Instagram post, Victoria wrote, “Caught up with some long-time friends and made new ones too!” She accompanied it with the Victorious cast’s song “It’s Not Christmas Without You.” “@macfarlaneseth, your holiday party is simply the best! Thanks for inviting me (and for the song choice, which I loved).
For the event, both stars chose elaborate dresses. Specifically, Victoria, aged 31, wore a long-sleeved black mini-dress that featured a white fur collar and cuffs, while Elizabeth, also 31, opted for a long-sleeved green sequined gown.
The latter commented “A Christmas Jori” on the Vampire Diaries star’s post, which is the name that fans gave to the duo of their Nickelodeon characters Jade and Tori.
In response to the shared photos, Ariana, who portrayed Cat in the show, used five weeping emojis. To this, Victoria replied with three kissing faces and a group hug emoji.
Although the “7 Rings” performer was unable to join her previous co-stars for their reunion, she continues to maintain a connection with both actresses.
Actually, it was Elizabeth who initially encountered Ariana back in 2008, during their shared Broadway debut in the musical “13”. More recently, Elizabeth has spoken publicly about the unique connection they share.
In a recent interview with People (published on November 6th), Elizabeth shared that they truly prioritize spending time together. They enjoy sharing laughter, remembering past moments, and creating new ones.
She went on saying, “I run into Ariana frequently, and we’re always embarking on fresh adventures, filling in pages of our ever-evolving storybook.
Indeed, it was back in 2008 that Elizabeth and Ariana initially crossed paths, as they both took their first steps on Broadway with the musical “13”. More recently, Elizabeth has shared insights into the unique connection they share.
In an interview with People on November 6th, Elizabeth shared that they truly prioritize spending time together. They enjoy sharing laughter, recounting old moments, and creating new ones.
She often mentioned that she sees Ariana frequently,” she added, “and they are always creating memories, exploring new things, and writing more pages in their shared storybook.
In response to those ongoing rumors suggesting a long-standing dispute between them, Victoria felt compelled to clear the air about her relationship with Ariana.
In 2023, she shared with TopMob News that the most widespread misunderstanding seems to be the tale spun about our friendship being strained due to jealousy. She believes this narrative is perpetuated by the media for sensationalism, aiming to create conflicts where there are none. According to her, this outdated storyline no longer holds any significance now.
Moreover, it was noted that the Grammy winner shared the same sentiment when she said, “Ariana and I both thought, ‘This is absolutely ridiculous.’
The actress from “Dynasty” expressed her enthusiasm over the prospect of seeing the performer known for “One Last Time” in the movie version of “Wicked”.
Elizabeth recalled that when we first met, around 13 or 14 years of age, ‘Wicked’ was her favorite show and Glinda was her character. We used to sing the songs together, and she would often talk about her aspiration to play this role. I remember how diligently she worked during auditions and how deeply she desired it. Her success in landing this role is truly well-deserved.
In my own words, I’ve always found it necessary to clarify misconceptions about any alleged longstanding conflict between me and Ariana. These rumors have been persistently circulating for quite some time now.
In 2023, she shared with TopMob News that the most widespread misunderstanding is the tale spun about her being envious of her friend and our non-existent friendship. She believes this narrative is a persistent theme in media, trying to create conflict where there isn’t any, and it’s no longer relevant now.
Furthermore, in line with what she said, the Grammy winner concurred, “Ariana and I both thought it was silly when she texted me.
In the end, the cast from “Victorious” developed a strong connection during their time working together on the Nickelodeon series, and they continue to maintain that bond through an ongoing group chat.
Ariana shared with People magazine, “The affection remains, and I eagerly anticipate sharing more moments with you because we always have a great time together, and those times were truly unique. Frankly, no one else can fully grasp the uniqueness of that period. It was exceptionally special for us.

In the early ’90s, Jonathan Taylor Thomas became a household name, portraying the intelligent and lovable middle child Randy Taylor on the popular sitcom “Home Improvement“. During that decade, he also appeared in several films. Notably, he lent his voice to the character of young Simba in “The Lion King“, although it was not him singing. He also starred alongside Brad Renfro in the 1995 film “Tom and Huck” and with Devon Sawa in the 1997 film “Wild America“.
In 1998, he chose to step away from “Home Improvement” (as Randy decided to travel to Costa Rica), prioritizing his academic pursuits instead. However, he continued to act in various other activities outside of school.
In the year 2004, he played a recurring character on the show “8 Simple Rules.” Then, in 2013, he reconnected with his TV father, Tim Allen, and directed (and acted in) several episodes of “Last Man Standing.
While I may have stepped back from the limelight to focus on my personal life and achievements such as graduating from Columbia University in 2010, rest assured that my presence doesn’t have to be on the screen to create a ripple. Occasionally, when the shutterbugs manage to capture me, those sightings tend to spread like wildfire across social media.
At such a young age, Lipnicki has made quite an impact in Hollywood, as his debut performances were just as captivating as Tom Cruise’s in terms of charm in the movie “Jerry Maguire.” He also managed to steal many memorable lines from the film. After that, he appeared in the “Stuart Little” series, provided the voice for Baby Tiger in “Doctor Dolittle,” starred in “The Little Vampire” and “Little Mike,” and even made an appearance on “Dawson’s Creek.” However, he decided to take a break from acting to enjoy a typical high school experience.
He’s still in showbiz as an adult, starring in the 2023 Lifetime movie Secrets at the Museum. The L.A. native is also a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and in May 2021 he volunteered to provide additional security outside a mid-city synagogue amid a rise in anti-Semitic vandalism and harassment.
2017 saw Lipnicki publicly discuss on Instagram the bullying he encountered during his middle school years, with the intention of providing solace to others by revealing his own experiences.
The kids mercilessly teased him, but eventually they likely moved on from their unkind actions and attempted to befriend him on Facebook. He remembered being told he was a washed-up failure, never to land another job, which led to nightly anxiety attacks as he braced for the next day’s embarrassment. However, he persevered, expressing gratitude for the wonderful life he now lives and hoping to share that it does indeed get better.
Wilson starred in Mrs. Doubtfire at 6 and Matilda at 9 before putting acting on the back burner.
2016 saw me proudly unveiling my memoir, “Where Am I Now?: True Tales of Adolescence and Unintended Celebrity.” That same year, I graced the small screen on the phenomenal series, “Broad City,” lent my voice to the enchanting worlds of “BoJack Horseman,” “Big Hero 6: The Series,” and the captivating “Helluva Boss.” As a die-hard fan of my own work, I couldn’t have been more thrilled with these incredible opportunities!
In a February 2021 op-Ed for the New York Times, Wilson recounted an instance where a former acquaintance, grinning broadly, inquired, “What’s it like to have reached your zenith?” At that time, Wilson was at a loss as to how to respond, but now she would answer differently. The question is misplaced because I haven’t hit my peak, for the reason being that The Story (of my life) is no longer being penned by someone else. I am now the one who gets to write it.
By the time Gordon-Levitt appeared on “3rd Rock From the Sun” playing Tommy Solomon, an extraterrestrial team member disguised as a normal human family, he was already an experienced actor. This popular sitcom first aired in 1996, which was also the year that saw him cast as Demi Moore’s son in the thriller “The Jury”.
By the year 1999, he had become the charming love interest in the film “10 Things I Hate About You”. In 2004, he portrayed a shrewd character in “Mysterious Skin”, and in the 2005 noir drama “Brick”, he played a determined teenage detective trying to solve the mystery of his ex-girlfriend’s disappearance.
Despite appearing youthful enough to be a teen even in his late twenties, Joseph Gordon-Levitt has made a name for himself with notable roles as an adult. Some of these standout performances include “500 Days of Summer”, “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra”, “Inception”, “50/50”, “The Dark Knight Rises”, “Looper”, “Lincoln”, “Don Jon” (which he also wrote and directed), and “Snowden”. In 2020, Gordon-Levitt delved into real historical events by portraying a prosecutor in “The Trial of the Chicago 7”, and he took on the role of Uber co-founder Travis Kalanick in the series “Super Pumped”.
He quietly married Tasha McCauley in 2014 and they share two children.
Thanks to her remarkable, mature portrayal in the 1994 film “The Professional” at just 12 years old, Portman quickly earned a reputation for her serious and profound presence. Ever since her impressive debut, she has continued to prove herself through major blockbusters like the Star Wars prequels, the Thor series, and Avengers: Endgame; indie hits such as Beautiful Girls and Garden State; comedic roles in Mars Attacks! and Your Highness; intense dramas like Closer and Brothers; and gripping apocalyptic thrillers including V for Vendetta and Annihilation.
In 2010, she won the Best Actress Oscar for her portrayal as a ballerina losing her sanity in the movie “Black Swan.” This performance also earned another nomination for her depiction of Jacqueline Kennedy following the assassination of her husband, seen in the film “Jackie.” Her first directorial venture was in 2015 with the release of “A Tale of Love and Darkness,” a movie adaptation from Amos Oz’s autobiographical novel.
In the year 2012, she tied the knot with her choreographer, Benjamin Millepied. Together, they have a son named Aleph and a daughter named Amalia.
Jones gained notoriety as the character of Jon Cryer’s hapless divorcé (and Charlie Sheen’s playboy songwriter nephew) in the popular sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men’ during the 2000s. In 2012, a video emerged online showcasing Jones criticizing the comedy, labeling it as “vulgar.” The clip was taken from a 15-minute spiritual testimony for Forerunner Chronicles, an evangelical ministry based in Alabama.
Later on, I genuinely regret my actions that appeared uninterested and disrespectful towards my fellow team members. Additionally, I failed to fully acknowledge the incredible privilege I’ve been granted in this unique opportunity.
The actor soon left the series, but returned for the finale in 2015.
As a die-hard fan turned critic, I can’t help but express my feelings about the iconic sitcom on CBS, where I used to earn an astounding $350,000 per episode during my final season. However, this financial windfall couldn’t mask the discomfort that gnawed at me as the show seemed to trivialize issues that plague our society. I was a hypocrite, earning my paycheck while being uncomfortable with the very thing I was contributing to. The irony wasn’t lost on me – I was part of the problem I claimed to care about deeply.
Prior to a 2023 IMDb entry credited to the Max series ‘Bookie’, his last acting role was in Louis C.K.’s 2016 limited series, ‘Horace & Pete’.
In 2016, Jones studied at the University of Colorado, Boulder, leading what he referred to as an ordinary life, as he shared with People magazine. He further mentioned, “For quite some time, my thoughts turned quite apocalyptic, but now I’m having a great time and enjoying where I am.” He concluded by stating, “I no longer feel like each step I take is on a minefield.
Discussing actors who might have been synonymous with one famous character for life, Daniel Radcliffe has shown great courage in seeking roles beyond Harry Potter. This is evident in his stage performances such as those in plays like ‘Equus’ and ‘The Cripple of Inishmaan’, or the classic musical ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying’. On screen, he portrayed Allen Ginsberg, the Beat poet, in ‘Kill Your Darlings’, and a corpse that farts in ‘Swiss Army Man’. On television, he played an opioid-addicted doctor in ‘A Young Doctor’s Notebook’.
Most recently he wrapped up a four-season run on MIracle Workers, played the title entertainer in Weird: The Al Yankovic Story and returned to Broadway in Merrily We Roll Along.
On a personal note, Radcliffe is dad to a son with longtime partner Erin Darke.
She first appeared on screen in ‘Mayberry R.F.D.’, a spinoff of ‘The Andy Griffith Show’, at about 6 years old, and at the age of 14, she received her first Oscar nomination for her role as a girl exploited by a sinister pimp in ‘Taxi Driver’. This character’s struggle was what prompted Robert De Niro’s character, Travis Bickle, to take violent action. In 1976, Foster also starred in the original ‘Freaky Friday’, a stark contrast to ‘Taxi Driver’, which solidified her status as a mainstream child star.
As a committed scholar, I seized the opportunity to enroll at Yale, following which my career took a significant leap. I emerged victorious, claiming my first Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, portraying a rape victim who bravely pressed charges against her assailants in the 1988 film “The Accused“. Subsequently, I made my feature directorial debut with “Little Man Tate” in 1991. The following year, I clinched another Oscar for Best Actress, embodying a resilient FBI trainee in “The Silence of the Lambs“.
The actress and filmmaker was honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for life achievement at the 2013 Golden Globes and in the last few years has done more directing for TV, helming episodes of House of Cards, Black Mirror and Orange Is the New Black. Her major big-screen credits in the 21st century include Panic Room, Inside Man, Elysium, Hotel Artemis and The Mauritanian, which earned her a surprise Golden Globe win in 2021 for supporting actress.
In my world, I’m blessed to be a momma to two fantastic boys, shared with the remarkable Cydney Bernard before our paths diverged. Fast forward to 2014, I found love again, tying the knot with the incredible Alexandra Hedison, a gifted photographer and director.
It’s only fitting that Jodie Foster, who was once a child actress herself, nurtured Kristen Stewart during their time together as mother and daughter in David Fincher’s 2002 thriller, “Panic Room.” Similar to her mentor, Stewart has had a complex relationship with fame, but on an entirely different scale after she landed the groundbreaking, career-defining role of Bella Swan in the “Twilight” series at around 16 years old. This role brought her unprecedented recognition and acclaim on the Internet.
Back in 2019, when I chatted with Stellar magazine, I recalled a moment when I believed she had doubts about my acting career persisting, speaking of the remarkable Jodie Foster. But let me assure you, her skepticism wasn’t rooted in any lack of talent on her part; instead, it was all about her incredibly humble demeanor that wasn’t typically associated with Hollywood showmanship. I continued by saying, “I adore my profession, but I can see why she might have questioned my dedication as a youngster. I hold her in the highest regard.
Since finishing the five-movie Twilight saga, the actress and Chanel muse hasn’t struggled to find work. Besides her 2019 attempt at rebooting Charlie’s Angels, she has chosen to focus on smaller, more personal films. These include The Clouds of Sils Maria, where she earned the first American actress to win a Cesar Award (similar to the Oscars in France), the suspenseful drama Personal Shopper, and movies like Seberg and Spencer that aren’t exactly biographical.
Following the well-publicized breakup with Robert Pattinson, Stewart has mostly been in relationships with women. Since 2021, she has been engaged to Dylan Meyer.
Decades prior to his famous act that wiped out half the Earth’s population, the son of actor James Brolin initially made a mark by portraying Brandon Walsh, a character known for being cool yet exasperated, protective, and big-hearted, in the movie “Goonies” released in 1985.
After a number of films, Brolin appeared in titles like “Flirting With Disaster”, “Mimic”, “No Country for Old Men” (which won the Best Picture Oscar and significantly boosted his career), “American Gangster”, “W.” (portraying the 43rd President George W. Bush), “Milk” (for which he was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar, playing Dan White, who assassinated city official and gay rights activist Harvey Milk), “Jonah Hex”, “True Grit”, “Sicario”, “Deadpool 2”, the Marvel films “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Endgame”, where he was digitally transformed into the villain Thanos, and the science fiction epic “Dune”, with parts one released and part two yet to come.
Josh Brolin has two children from his first marriage to Alice Adair. After that marriage ended, he was with Diane Lane from 2004 until 2013. Since marrying Kathryn Boyd in 2016, they have had a daughter named Westlyn Reign Brolin in 2018 and another daughter, Chapel Grace Brolin, in December of 2020.
At just ten years old, she first appeared in films alongside Cher and Winona Ryder, notably in “Mermaids” from 1990 and “The Addams Family,” where she played the characteristically melancholic Wednesday Addams. The following year saw her reappearance in another role.
1990s classics like “Casper” and “Now and Then” featured prominently in Ricci’s early career, followed by a diverse array of roles that showcased intricate characters in films such as “The Opposite of Sex”, “Buffalo ’66”, “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas”, “Sleepy Hollow”, “Prozac Nation”, “Pumpkin” and “Monster”. In the latter, she portrayed the girlfriend of serial killer Aileen Wuornos, a role that earned Charlize Theron her Academy Award.
For the last 30 years, Ricci’s activities have primarily been adventurous. This includes portraying a stylish ’60s flight attendant in the brief-lived series Pan Am, being bound to a radiator in Black Snake Moan, playing intriguing real-life women like ax murderer Lizzie Borden in The Lizzie Borden Chronicles and author and literary muse Zelda Fitzgerald in Z: The Beginning of Everything.
Ricci is mom to son Freddie with ex-husband James Heerdegen.
In the month of December in the year 2021, the celebrity known as “Yellowjackets” became a parent to a child named Cleopatra. She tied the knot with her hairdresser, Mark Hampton, who was the father of the child, having gotten married in October of the same year.
Macaulay Culkin solidified his legendary image at just 10 years old with a memorable scream in “Home Alone,” but his career had been building since he was five, appearing in TV movies, as well as films like “Uncle Buck,” “Jacob’s Ladder,” and more. After taking a nearly decade-long break following 1994’s “Ri¢hie Ri¢h,” Culkin has returned to acting sporadically, focusing on smaller films with significant cultural impact such as “Party Monster” and “Saved.
Following stints on Adult Swim’s “Robot Chicken” and a barista role inspired by himself on “The Jim Gaffigan Show,” Macaulay Culkin is expected to join the cast of the 10th season of “American Horror Story,” set to air in 2021, assuming all pandemic precautions are addressed.
The actor is currently in a relationship with Brenda Song, and they have two sons together. Their eldest son, Dakota Song Culkin, was named after the actor’s older sister Dakota who tragically passed away in a car accident in 2008. Their second child, born in 2023, has yet to be given a name publicly, but he made his first appearance at his father’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on December 1, 2023.
It appears that Dakota transitioned from portraying Ally McBeal’s 5-year-old self and Sean Penn’s 6-year-old daughter in “I Am Sam” to setting a path as the first female police employee turned private detective in the period drama “The Alienist,” seemingly all at once. However, that was not the case.
She’s actually just been working her tail off for more than 20 years, turning in memorable performances in Uptown Girls, Man on Fire, Hide and Seek, War of the Worlds, Charlotte’s Web, The Secret Life of Bees, three Twilight movies, American Pastoral and Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood, playing real-life Charles Manson acolyte Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme.
Apart from sharing the screen with her little sister Elle Fanning in “The Nightingale”, she’s also set to take the lead role in an adaptation of Sylvia Plath’s renowned (and sole) novel, “The Bell Jar”. This novel narrates a young woman’s struggle with mental illness in the 1950s.
Initially, she made her debut portraying the character “Lucy 2 years” in the movie “I Am Sam“, which was a younger version of Dakota’s character, but this Fanning sister has since forged her unique path as an actress and established her own style distinctly separate from her equally successful sibling.
She accumulated typical roles as the offspring of established film stars in numerous productions, such as “Daddy Day Care,” “The Door in the Floor,” “Babel,” and “Reservation Road.” Additionally, she made appearances on several installments of the “CSI” series, “Criminal Minds,” “House,” “Law & Order: SVU,” and many other shows that may have been inappropriate for her age at the time. As a teenager and young adult, her filmography remained diverse, spanning genres from family-oriented films like “We Bought a Zoo” and “Maleficent,” young adult stories such as “Super 8” and “Twixt,” prestigious dramas including “Trumbo” and “20th Century Women,” and unsettling fantasies like “The Neon Demon” and “The Beguiled.
During her journey, she has portrayed Mary Shelley in a film titled “Mary Shelley” and Catherine the Great on the satirical series “The Great” available on Hulu. Coming up next, she along with Dakota are set to play sisters in the highly anticipated big-screen adaptation of Kristin Hannah’s World War II novel, “The Nightingale.
Over time, the actress and singer who first gained fame on Disney Channel’s “Lizzie McGuire” has aged. After her breakout role, she smoothly transitioned to more family-oriented projects like “Agent Cody Banks,” “Cheaper by the Dozen,” and “A Cinderella Story.
However, following a period where she seemed to take a less prominent role, Duff has shone once more in Younger, portraying a character with depth that goes beyond initial impressions alongside Sutton Foster’s 40-year-old character pretending to be a millennial on the TV Land series. This popular show is preparing for its seventh season. Although the idea of a spin-off focusing on Duff’s character Kelsey from Younger is intriguing, fans who grew up with her as Lizzie were eagerly anticipating her reprisal of this role in a planned reboot for Disney+. Regrettably, the revival of this cherished series has been postponed.
She has since starred in two seasons of How I Met Your Father.
Duff and former hockey player Mike Comrie, the father of their son Luca Comrie, split up in 2014 after approximately four years of wedlock, leading to a divorce. Later, she had a daughter named Banks Violet Koma with songwriter Matthew Koma, whom she later married in 2019. In 2021, they were blessed with another little girl, Mae James Koma.
The younger sister of Growing Pains star Kirk Cameron became crimped-hair fashion inspo for 12-year-olds everywhere playing studious eldest Tanner sister D.J. on Full House, which ran from 1987 until 1995.
She has starred in a parade of TV movies, some with major messages to send, such as 1996’s No One Would Tell, based on the true story of a high school student who was murdered by her 16-year-old boyfriend after she silently suffered his abuse for months. (Yes, we’re still haunted.)
In more recent times, following a two-season stint as a co-host on The View, and also rejoining almost the entire Tanner family for five seasons of Netflix’s Fuller House, Candace has risen to prominence. She is now a key figure in Hallmark Channel’s Christmas programming, and stars in their Aurora Teagarden murder-mystery series, which is based on the books by Charlaine Harris.
In the year 2021, she commemorated her 25th wedding anniversary with ex-NHL player Valeri Bure, who is the father of her three kids.
Following eight seasons portraying the middle sister Stephanie Tanner on the show “Full House”, Sweetin grappled with issues related to substance abuse, a struggle she openly discussed in her 2009 memoir titled “unSweetined”.
3 marriages from 2002 to 2016, along with her short-lived engagement to Justin Hodak, provided plenty of news material. Hodak, with his numerous problems, eventually breached a restraining order against him, leading to his imprisonment for over six years in 2019 due to illegal possession of a lethal weapon and tampering with evidence.
Since 2008, the mother of Zoie and Beatrix has been sober. She returned to the Tanner family for five seasons of “Fuller House” on Netflix and also starred in various films for the Hallmark Channel. Some of her notable roles include the Christmas-themed movie “Merry and Bright” from 2019, as well as the romantic comedy “Just Swipe.
The character of Michelle Tanner, initially portrayed as an innocent baby and later a quick-witted 6-year-old on the beloved ABC sitcom Full House, was played by twin sisters who leveraged their fame into a variety of ventures including films, production companies, children’s clothing lines, books, and numerous other products. This diversified portfolio ultimately transformed into a thriving Olsen business empire.
After 2004’s “New York Minute”, Mary-Kate carried on acting, joining the cast of “Weeds” for a season and featuring in films like “The Wackness” and “Beastly”. In contrast, Ashley mostly stepped away from acting, and now both are just highly successful figures in the fashion industry as co-founders of CFDA Award-winning brands The Row and Elizabeth & James.
2023 brought the most precious blessing into my world, as I quietly embraced parenthood with Louis Eisner, my cherished partner since 2017. On the other hand, Mary-Kate walked down the aisle with Olivier Sarkozy in 2015, but their journey together ended when she filed for divorce in 2020.
Prior to his movie stardom, the Academy Award for The Revenant, the activism, and the glamorous lifestyle, Leonardo DiCaprio was once a homeless teenager who moved in with the Seaver family on Growing Pains in 1991. Known for his youthful appearance that made him seem even younger than his actual age (he was already 16 during his tenure on Growing Pains and had been acting for quite some time), DiCaprio earned his first of six Oscar nominations for What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, playing troubled characters in A Boy’s Life, The Basketball Diaries, Marvin’s Room, and Romeo + Juliet (though he was more troubled by love in the latter).
He still kinda looked like a kid in Titanic, but at 22 he had reached full-on heartthrob status.
For about ten years, Leonardo DiCaprio has graced our screens in movies like Inception, The Wolf of Wall Street, Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood, The Revenant (earning his initial Best Actor Oscar), and Killers of the Flower Moon.
Accio, adulthood!
After making a remarkable debut as Hermione Granger in eight Harry Potter movies, the British actress subsequently starred in young adult films like The Perks of Being a Wallflower and The Bling Ring, shared the screen with Tom Hanks in The Circle, and has used her position as a UN Goodwill Ambassador to uplift women and promote gender equality on a global scale.
Originally from New Mexico, this individual made a spectacular debut at just 15 years old, receiving a Golden Globe nomination for his initial role as a melancholic boy who forms a connection with the household help in the 1988 TV film titled “Clara’s Heart.” However, success could have easily eluded the actor from the television series “Doogie Howser, M.D,” where he portrayed a prodigious 16-year-old doctor. In a humorous twist, he seemingly experienced setbacks and poked fun at himself in the film “Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle.
But though he had a dry spell while he unwound from overdoing it as a youngster adrift in Hollywood, he did tons of theater, including three Broadway shows, and the right TV role eventually presented itself in the form of genial playboy Barney Stinson on How I Met Your Mother, for which he earned four Emmy nominations. In 2010 alone he was nominated for three Emmys and won two, for co-producing the 2009 Tonys and guest-starring on Glee.
This versatile performer, skilled in acting, singing, dancing, and magic, has hosted the Tonys on four occasions (receiving an Emmy for outstanding special class programming each time as a producer). He’s also taken home the Emmy twice and the Oscar once, in 2015. In addition to this, he was awarded a Tony in 2014 for Best Actor in a Musical, playing the lead role in Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
2010 saw the arrival of my precious twins, Gideon and Harper, through the kindness of a surrogate mother, while I joyously walked down the aisle hand-in-hand with my soulmate, David Burtka, in 2014.
At the tender age of 4, she stole the show as adorable Olivia on The Cosby Show. Following this, she starred in movies like The Little Rascals, Doctor Dolittle, and its sequel. In 2003, she got her own Disney Channel sitcom, That’s So Raven. During this time, she also made appearances in various other Disney productions such as The Cheetah Girls, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Kim Possible, and Sonny With a Chance.
Following the end of her show in 2007, Raven-Symoné’s television career expanded to include roles in shows like “American Dad”, “Nashville”, “State of Georgia”, “The Jim Gaffigan Show”, “Master of None”, and “Drunk History”. Since 2015, she has also been a recurring cast member on “Black-ish”. Additionally, Raven-Symoné served as a co-host on “The View” for three seasons, and in June 2020, she got married to Miranda Maday.
