The man behind Dishonored and Prey is back with Wolfeye Studios, and their new first-person action RPG promises to be an immersive, retro sci-fi adventure that’ll make us feel right at home.
After departing from Arkane Studios, a studio he co-founded, Raphael Colantonio has remained active with his new venture, Wolfeye Studios. In 2022, they unveiled their debut title, “Weird West,” offering players a hauntingly atmospheric Wild West-themed fantasy journey that blended action RPG combat with immersive sim aspects, a style refined by Colantonio and his team during the creation of “Dishonored” and “Prey.” Now, they are venturing further down this path with their second game, which maintains the action RPG gameplay but shifts to a first-person perspective, a characteristic that fans of Arkane’s games will find familiar. At present, we don’t have much information other than the game’s existence, but Wolfeye is accepting registrations for a private alpha test in 2025.

While we’re still waiting for more details, I can’t help but reminisce about the countless hours I spent exploring futuristic worlds in my younger days and the sense of wonder and adventure those games instilled in me.
