Arrow Video Brings The Invasion to 4K for the First Time in New Exclusive Clip

Having first watched this movie in my college dorm room back in 2007 (and let’s not forget the allure of Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig), it’s a treat to see it get the high-definition treatment it deserves.


This fall, the classic sci-fi thriller “The Invasion” is receiving an impressive update as Arrow Video unveils it in 4K Ultra High Definition for the first time. The 2007 adaptation of Jack Finney’s “The Body Snatchers” has maintained a devoted following since its release 17 years ago, and now fans can enjoy this revitalized version. Mark your calendars for November 12th, as Arrow Video will make the film available on 4K UHD for the first time ever. Here’s a sneak peek at the stunning restoration work done by Arrow Video.

In the video provided, there’s a unique sneak peek from Arrow’s release of “The Invasion”. Here, psychiatrist Carol Bennell, portrayed by Nicole Kidman, starts observing peculiar events surrounding her. Let’s take a glance!

In simple terms, the upgraded 4K version of “The Invasion” comes equipped with Dolby Vision (also compatible with HDR10), and it boasts a DTS 5.1 surround sound track.
