Artem Chigvintsev Previously Accused of Kicking Dance Partner

As a lifestyle expert with decades of experience in the entertainment industry, I have seen my fair share of scandals and controversies. The recent resurfacing of accusations against Artem Chigvintsev from his time on Strictly Come Dancing is particularly troubling, given the serious nature of the allegations made by Fern Britton.

Accusations made against Artem Chigvintsev from his time on Strictly Come Dancing have reemerged.

Not long after the dancer who wed Nikki Garcia in 2022 was taken into custody due to domestic violence charges, previous accusations leveled by his dance partner Fern Britton on “Strictly Come Dancing” have been revisited.

In 2012, a television presenter from Britain, who was partnered with a ballroom dancer on the BBC program, subsequently alleged that he had inappropriately touched her, referring to the incident as “manhandling.”

In a 2015 interview with Huffington Post UK, she stated that he would often stare at her feet and either kick or push her. She also recalled him saying, “Stand still and don’t move, I’ll dance around you.”

Britton also alleged that he once told her, “Shut your face. Go home before I kill you.'”

To this, she further remarked, “I might say something like, ‘Oh, just end me already, it’s less complicated.’ Or did he mention another? ‘If you step out for a moment, I’ll explode like an atomic bomb.’ I decided not to correct him on his hyperbole.”

Previously, the host of “This Morning” commented by saying that they had loved each other briefly, but he was not the embodiment of charm.

She went on to say, “I had a fun time with it,” regarding her experience on the U.K. dance competition program, “yet it was also quite challenging.”

TopMob News has contacted representatives of Britton and Chigvintsev, the BBC, and Strictly Come Dancing to seek their response regarding the accusations, yet no comments have been received as of now.

Previously confirmed by an officer from the Napa County Sheriff’s office, the former contestant on “Dancing With the Stars” was taken into custody on August 29 in Yountville, California, following a domestic violence incident. The incident was reported through a 911 call. This individual is also the father of Matteo, who is 4 years old, with Garcia.

As per the police report, a 42-year-old individual was detained and subsequently transferred to the Napa County Department of Correction. Later on, he managed to post a $25,000 bond and secure his release. While authorities have shared some details after his apprehension, they emphasized that certain aspects must remain confidential due to laws safeguarding the privacy of victims involved in domestic violence incidents.

According to Henry Wofford, the Napa County Sheriff’s public information officer, if someone is accused of felony domestic violence, it often implies that there is a noticeable injury or reliable witness testimony. The deputies in this case felt confident enough to arrest him based on these felony domestic violence charges.

At present, authorities aren’t sharing the identity, sex, or age of the individual who has been affected, as well as withholding information regarding their connection to Chigvintsev.
