Artem Chigvintsev's Dancing With the Stars Fate Revealed Amid Arrest

As an ardent fan who has followed Artem Chigvintsev’s journey from the dance floor to his personal life, I am deeply saddened by the recent turn of events. It’s disheartening to see someone who brought so much joy and passion to Dancing with the Stars embroiled in such a situation.

Artem Chigvintsev will not be competing for the Mirror Ball trophy this year.

Following his arrest on a domestic violence charge on August 29, it became public knowledge that the professional dancer from Dancing with the Stars, who has been married to Nikki Garcia since 2022, would not participate in the dance competition series for its upcoming season 33, as reported by several sources.

Previously, Chigvintsev participated in a total of twelve seasons of the show, with the last four consecutive seasons being part of it. In the year 2020, he and his partner Kaitlyn Bristowe from season 29 won the prestigious Mirror Ball trophy. During the latest 32nd season, he came in fourth place while dancing with former Bachelorette contestant Charity Lawson.

On September 4th, the complete roster for season 33 of “Dancing with the Stars” will be unveiled on “Good Morning America”.

Maksim Chigvintsev, the father of 4-year-old Matteo with Garcia, was detained on charges of domestic violence, as indicated by documents from TopMob News. The incident occurred around morning time on August 29, and he was later freed on a $25,000 bond in Napa, California. Chigvintsev, aged 42, was accused under California penal code section 273.5 (a)PC for acts of violence directed towards a spouse or someone they live with.

TopMob News has reached out to reps for Chigvintsev but has not yet heard back.

neither Chigvintsev nor Garcia, who became acquainted during season 25 of “Dancing With the Stars,” have made any public statements regarding the arrest.

Instead, here’s a suggestion for paraphrasing your sentence: On August 28th, Garcia posted an Instagram story indicating that the couple were in Napa, this was just a few days after they celebrated their anniversary on August 26th.

On this special day, Garcia, aged 40, posted a video of their wedding ceremony, accompanied by the words of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” and added, “This song encapsulates our love story.”

She went on, “I’ll always remember the place where I stood when I questioned Jesus about Artem. Engaging in a discourse with Him and the Divinity. The emotions seemed premature. Everything moved too swiftly. Then this song began to play, and that was when I realized that I was falling for him, and it was all destined.”

Additionally, Chigvintsev expressed a heartfelt message on Instagram for his spouse, showcasing pictures from their wedding and writing, “Happy anniversary, my dear! I can’t imagine my life without you. You mean the world to me.”
