This fall, Bryan Cranston will be back on the West End stage, taking the lead role in a highly anticipated revival of Arthur Miller’s play, “All My Sons,” alongside other renowned actors.
A renowned actor from “Breaking Bad” will join forces with Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Paapa Essiedu at London’s Wyndham’s Theatre for a temporary engagement lasting from the 14th of November, 2025, to the 7th of February, 2026.
Jean-Baptiste gained recognition primarily from her Oscar-nominated performance in Mike Leigh’s film, Secrets & Lies. On the other hand, Essiedu is a highly praised actor, poised to make his mark in the upcoming HBO Harry Potter series portraying Professor Snape.
In this upcoming project, Bryan Cranston teams up with director Ivo Van Hove again, having previously worked together on “Network” in 2017, a collaboration that earned Cranston both the Olivier Award and Tony Award for Best Actor. This production also signifies Ivo Van Hove’s third significant Arthur Miller production as he has directed “A View from the Bridge” and “The Crucible” previously.
There’s nothing I’m more certain about than having exceptional individuals in your circle. Being among this innovative team of artists for All My Sons is absolutely thrilling!
Marianne Jean-Baptiste expressed her excitement about collaborating with Ivo, and she’s looking forward to working alongside both Bryan and Paapa, who she is a big admirer of.
Similar to numerous works by Arthur Miller, the play All My Sons delves into topics such as guilt, grief, and the pursuit of the American Dream. The character Joe Keller, a businessman, experiences the consequences of his prosperity as he is confronted with legal accusations against his partner and the mysterious disappearance of his eldest son.
