Ever since my dear friends Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens (from the unforgettable High School Musical) brought their second little angel into the world a month ago, I’ve been absolutely captivated by life as a mom of two! I just can’t get enough of the adorable snippets they’ve shared – first glimpses of their precious new daughter Emerson and heartwarming moments between her and big sister Jupiter. It’s truly magical to witness this beautiful family expanding, and I find myself constantly checking for updates!
Ashley wrote, ‘You’re everything, Emerson,’ for her October 4th Instagram post. She can hardly believe a month has passed and is cherishing each moment carefully.
In these photos, the 39-year-old gently cuddled Emerson as she napped, Jupiter tenderly cradled their little sister and gave her a sweet forehead kiss, and Christopher affectionately watched over the one-month-old while she snoozed comfortably in their shared lap.
If the charming pictures weren’t crisp, she had mentioned earlier that she, Christopher, and Jupiter were equally smitten by the latest member of their household, affectionately referred to as their “newest addition.
In a September 20th essay for her company Frenshe, Ashley wrote, “Emerson is simply adorable and Juju is loving her role as a big sister. As always, Chris is an incredible father and an outstanding husband. This moment feels incredibly sweet for us.
However, despite the joy that the former star of the “Suite Life of Zack & Cody” feels as a new mother, she’s been open about the challenges she faced during her pregnancy.
Ashley shared, “After giving birth to Jupiter, I struggled with postpartum depression (PPD). Despite my deep love for her from the moment she was born, there was something off for me in my role as a new mom. I had envisioned feeling specific emotions as a mother, but instead, I found myself feeling quite sad and anxious, and even guilty about those feelings.
Following the challenging period after her first pregnancy, the actress from “Phineas and Ferb” shared about the apprehension that arose as Emerson’s delivery date drew near.
Ashley shared, “When I found out I was pregnant, I was both thrilled and anxious. However, things worked out well for me. As soon as I saw Emerson’s eyes, I felt an immediate bond that I had always longed for. I feel like myself again, and I feel completely connected to my daughters.
As for now, she’s taking the time to be in the moment with her family of four.
Ashley expressed her affection for how our family has turned out,” she said. “I never thought my heart could be this content, and I’m overjoyed that it is.
