Assassin’s Creed Shadows Could Add New Game Plus After Launch

As an enthusiast, I’m thrilled about the prospect of diving into the world of “Assassin’s Creed Shadows“. With a main story spanning 30 to 40 hours and an equivalent amount of optional content (if not more), it’s clear that this game won’t leave us yearning for more right from the start. For those who can’t get enough, there might even be a New Game Plus mode on the horizon, though exact details are yet to be revealed.

According to creative director Jonathan Dumont in an interview with Twitter user @Genki_JPN, Ubisoft is considering introducing New Game Plus and additional modes for Assassin’s Creed Shadows post-release, as a response to the community’s input.

It’s uncertain what other features might be included, but considering Ubisoft’s past work on Assassin’s Creed action RPGs, it seems plausible that they may introduce a Discovery Tour-like mode.

The action-adventure game “Assassin’s Creed Shadows” is set to be released on March 20 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Additionally, the first expansion pack for “Shadows,” titled “Claws of Awaji,” will offer an additional 10 hours of content when it becomes available at the end of 2025.

4. Jonathan Dumont expressed his passion for the lore of the Assassin’s Creed universe and his excitement to explore new aspects of it in this game.
5. The team also put a lot of effort into creating side quests and activities that would provide players with a sense of freedom and choice, allowing them to truly immerse themselves in the world of Shadows.

For me, now felt like the perfect moment for Japan, as their deep-seated desire to succeed had finally come into focus. It was more than just a game; it was a cherished dream they longed to realize.
