Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ Next Title Update Arrives on June 25th, New Ally Revealed

During the eagerly anticipated Summer of Gaming event, Ubisoft didn’t unveil many exciting announcements, except for the release date of Anno 117: Pax Romana. As previously scheduled, this month will see the arrival of the next Title Update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Additionally, a new video teaser has been shared, introducing the upcoming ally that players can enlist – Rufino, voiced by Robbie Daymond from Critical Role.

In a brief advertisement for the game’s latest installment, Rufino is shown armed with a flintlock pistol, offering potential ranged support to Yasuke and Naoe. Moreover, he is an integral part of the fresh narrative, granting players an additional free story mission.

On June 25th, the Title Update becomes active, featuring additional challenge levels, options for enhancing game immersion, and a worldwide alert mechanism. Additionally, players have the option to make headgear visible during cutscenes for a more realistic feel or a touch of humor.

Beyond their ongoing tasks, the development team is simultaneously focusing on enhancing features such as New Game Plus, unique collaborations, extra narrative material, and more. The upcoming story expansion, titled “Claws of Awaji“, is anticipated to launch this year (potentially in September). Keep an eye out for further announcements until then.
