Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Osaka Castle Guide with All Samurai Daisho & Chest Locations

In the video game “Assassin’s Creed Shadows,” there are three hidden spots where you can discover Samurai Daisho weapons, along with a single Legendary Chest, waiting to be discovered at Osaka Castle.

Slaying the Samurai Duo (Daisho) will earn you Knowledge Points, useful for enhancing Naoe and Yasuke further. On the other hand, the Legendary Chest offers a distinctive, top-tier Light Armor for Naoe exclusively. Accomplishing both missions rewards you with 100% exploration of this region!

Step into the digital realm, my fellow gaming enthusiast! I’m about to spill the beans on how to track down the elusive Samurai Daisho and uncover the fabled Legendary Chest hidden within these castle walls. Let’s embark on this thrilling quest together!

Osaka Castle – Samurai Daisho and Legendary Chest Locations | Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Kill All 3 Samurai Daisho

Previously, we delved into the Samurai Daisho housed within Osaka Castle. It’s important to remember that in order to unlock the Legendary Chest, you must defeat all three of them first. Let’s eliminate them now!

For your convenience, here’s a map indicating where Osaka Castle is located. You’ll find it situated in the northern part of Osaka, specifically in Izumi Settsu.

As a dedicated admirer, I’d like to share that the first Samurai Daisho in our collection is exceptionally agile. He tends to roam around the central district of Osaka Castle. With a bit of patience, you should be able to spot him quite easily amidst his patrols. Interestingly, he often pauses near some hay stacks that can be accessed from the Osaka Castle Viewpoint. This makes it an ideal vantage point for those planning a stealthy assassination!

In the southern sector of Osaka Castle, you’ll find the second Samurai Daisho. He typically walks along the castle perimeter. It’s fortunate that not many other guards are on his beat, making him an easier target to neutralize.

Lastly, make your way to the construction site located at the southeastern part of Osaka Castle. That’s where you’ll likely see him stationary among some of the construction structures. He doesn’t appear to move around much, but other guards are nearby. Keep a low profile to steer clear of any potential confrontations.

Despite that, these are the three Samurai Daisho locations found within Osaka Castle in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Bringing them all under control will grant you 1 Mastery Point for Naoe and Yasuke, as well as unlocking the Legendary Chest!

Collecting the Legendary Chest

As a fan who’s just wrapped up all the Samurai Daisho business, here’s some exciting news: You can now claim the Legendary Chest in this region! The most convenient way to get there is by using Fast Travel and teleporting to the Osaka Tenshu Viewpoint. If you prefer a more challenging route, you could ascend to the very pinnacle of the main Osaka Castle structure.

From the peak of the castle’s tower, I recommend taking a leap of faith and jumping off the roof to the floor below. You’ll spot an open chamber there.

Step into the room and examine the western wall to discover a massive, red chest with legendary status. Unveil its contents to acquire the “Peasant Attire” Light Armor, specifically designed for Naoe.

This armor features a distinctive engraving called “Assassination with Attack”. What this means is that every time you strike an opponent, there’s a 3% chance to immediately deduct one health segment from them. It might not seem impressive, but it can be quite beneficial if luck is on your side!

In summary, these are the spots where you can find Osaka Castle’s Samurai Daisho and the Legendary Chest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. With these locations, you have everything required to achieve 100% exploration of this region.
