The upcoming release date for Assassin’s Creed Shadows on PS5, scheduled for 20th March, is swiftly approaching, and to keep us excited in the interim, Ubisoft has unveiled a new trailer showcasing next-gen features, albeit primarily highlighting PC. However, all platforms will eventually enjoy the benefits of its powerful Anvil Engine, offering spectacular environmental damage and weather effects that adapt with the changing seasons.
As a gamer, I’m eagerly anticipating the adventure that awaits me in Shadows, where I’ll follow the tales of two intriguing characters – the shinobi Naoe and the samurai Yasuke. There’s no need to pick sides here, as I can freely switch between these protagonists whenever I fancy, with no penalties for favouritism. To fully immerse myself in this captivating world, a prequel manga is being developed; unfortunately, there’s no word yet on when it will cross the sea and be available for us to read.
