As someone who was there when the streets of London were teeming with chaos and revolution, I can’t help but feel a surge of nostalgia hearing about the imminent update for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. Back in 2015, when Jacob and Evie Frye graced our screens, I was just a fledgling Assassin myself, learning the ropes of parkour and stealth.
Even though Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is almost a decade old, Ubisoft is planning to soon release an update for this action-adventure game, which may entice many gamers to once again engage in its thrilling gameplay.
Beginning tomorrow, November 19th, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is set to receive an upgrade, enhancing its performance on current-generation consoles by running at a smoother 60 FPS. Moreover, Ubisoft has announced that the game will aim for a 4K resolution on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and Xbox Series X, while it will operate at 1080p on Xbox Series S. It’s worth noting that this forthcoming update is expected to be significantly larger on Xbox Series X/S, with a file size of approximately 31.8 GB, compared to just 0.75 GB on PlayStation 5.
Following the strong criticism towards “Assassin’s Creed Unity” and its immediate successor “Assassin’s Creed Syndicate,” which were released in 2015, it’s fair to say that these games received a more subdued welcome. However, let me clarify that among the Assassin’s Creed series, these titles are considered some of the best. With the recent announcement of a 60 FPS update, many fans who have been eagerly waiting for this improvement may return to the game.
Tomorrow, the bustling streets of London from Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will run smoothly at 60FPS on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S!
