As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for intriguing narratives and clever game design, I can’t help but feel a twinge of excitement when I hear about more content coming to Astro Bot. The game has already proven itself to be a delightful journey, and the hints of hidden homages to other classic franchises have only added to its charm.
The game “Astro Bot” has just introduced its fifth and final free downloadable content (DLC) for speedrun levels, which were initially announced back in September. However, it seems like the development team at Team Asobi is planning on providing additional content for the platformer in the future as well.
Before the mentioned announcement, the end credits for the main game included franchises like Assassin’s Creed, Rayman, Beyond Good and Evil, and Croc: Legend of the Gobbos. However, following updates with the latest DLC releases, these franchises remain on the list, despite Team Asobi and Sony not incorporating content related to them in the game.
Additionally, a Reddit user noticed that the update credits included a reference to Tomba! Special Edition, implying that this title, along with others previously mentioned, might appear as upcoming downloadable content for Astro Bot that has not been announced yet.
Just before the release of “Astro Bot,” it was mentioned that the game would include at least 15 additional stages after launch. This implies that Team Asobi has more stages in store for the game, but when these new stages will be unveiled is currently unknown.
