With years of gaming under my belt, I’ve seen the ebb and flow of genres, and it’s been a while since we’ve had a solid Sony offering in this department. The behind-the-scenes dev diaries are just the icing on the cake, giving us a glimpse into the meticulous crafting of gameplay that promises a smooth, rhythmic, and responsive adventure.
Over the past few years, there haven’t been many platformers from Sony, so it’s understandable that fans who are passionate about this genre are eagerly anticipating the release of Astro Bot. With each recent demonstration, the upcoming platformer has been looking more and more appealing, and before its launch, Sony along with developer Team Asobi have started a new series of development diaries to provide insights into the game’s creation.
