Astro Bot is now available on PS5, and it’s been praised for offering an exceptional platforming adventure – one of the best this year according to critics! Remarkably, its high ratings seem to be translating into strong sales figures too, at least in Japan.

On Twitter, @Genki_JPN spotted an interesting development: Astro Bot is currently the top-selling game on Amazon Japan. However, due to high demand, it’s temporarily out of stock. Since the game was recently released, Sony hasn’t shared initial sales figures yet, but this strong start in Japan is certainly noteworthy. Whether its sales will be as impressive elsewhere is still uncertain, but its numerous positive reviews and buzz among gamers hint that it could be.
