Well, as a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that Sony’s latest offering, Astro Bot, has truly stolen my heart. Having traversed countless virtual landscapes and battled numerous digital adversaries, I can confidently say that this 3D platformer is a breath of fresh air.
In a recent announcement, Sony disclosed their Q2 fiscal year 2025 earnings report, which encompasses the period ending September 30th. This update includes revised sales figures for Astro Bot from Team Asobi, with more than 1.5 million units sold as of November 3rd.
On September 6th, I jumped right into the thrilling world of the newly released 3D platformer on my PS5! My adored character, Astro Bot, embarks on an exhilarating quest this time around, aiming to save a diverse group of crewmates. These include fellow Bots, familiar faces from other PlayStation franchises, and even some beloved third-party IPs that have played a significant role in the brand’s success. Despite the vast array of levels to discover and over 300 Bots to save, the estimated playtime is roughly 12 to 15 hours. I can hardly wait to set off on this incredible adventure!
