Fans have longed for a complete console edition within the “Astro Bot” series, and that dream is now becoming reality as it’s set to launch in just a week. To celebrate the approaching debut of this anticipated game, Sony has unveiled a fresh trailer. Take a peek at the video below.
Known for lasting 12 to 15 hours, the game Astro Bot offers over 80 stages spread across various galaxies, with options for three different difficulty settings and more than 70 unique enemy types. Additionally, there are approximately 300 bots to save and numerous appearances by characters from other well-known PlayStation franchises, such as Bloodborne, God of War, Ratchet and Clank, among others. Post-launch DLC for the game will be free and includes new levels and speed run challenges.
On September 6, Astro Bot is set to debut on PlayStation 5, without any announced plans for compatibility with PS VR2. The game’s price point will be $60. Critical reviews of this platformer are scheduled for release a day prior, on September 5.
