Before embarking on a journey across continent Aladiss to explore its secrets with Yumia, fans can immerse themselves in the wondrous world that lies ahead, as depicted in a fresh new trailer. Additionally, players can gain insights into the crucial members of the Aladiss Research team through the latest artwork by renowned artist Benitama.
In the game titled “Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land,” players embark on a journey with alchemist Yumia Liessfeldt, who joins the Aladiss Research team to explore the reasons behind the devastating catastrophe that wiped out the once thriving continent of Aladiss. Guided by the Order of Eustella and headed by Erhard, the Aladiss Research team is a group dedicated to studying the remnants of Aladiss, comprising researchers, explorers, and soldiers. Yumia and her companions will traverse the three regions of the continent, unearthing secrets concealed within the ruins of the crumbled Aladissian Empire.
As a gamer embarking on an adventure, my journey kicks off in the Ligneus region, where the research team initially set up shop, miles away from the Aladissian metropolis. I’ll traverse the sprawling plains and dense woodlands that define this land, uncovering long-abandoned research facilities once tended by alchemists of yore. Among the many intriguing sites in this region, players like me will explore the Arbor Botanical Garden and the 8th Laboratory before pressing onward with our quest.
Fungus enthusiasts will find joy in investigating the Sivash region, famous for its mushroom-like plants, where the character Yumia will interact with the demihuman Welleks tribe. During their journey, they’ll also come across the Neru tribe, a group of monstrous beings who can talk and are identifiable by their slim figures and umbrella-shaped like mushrooms. Before moving on to the next region, players have the opportunity to reflect at Preces Cathedral, a religious site central to the Welleks community, or delve into the intriguing ruins of Hermea Academy.
In the third area, you’ll find the industrial Auruma region, now a haunting landscape of the remnants of a bustling city. Amidst these remaining structures, adventurers can uncover a towering metal tree and its commercial district, complete with a station. Additionally, Yumia will explore the Mana Transposing Furnace, once the hub for mana research across Aladiss. During their journey through this region, the team may cross paths with the Geni tribe, known for their avian-like features of feathers and beaks.
Individuals buying either a physical or digital version within two weeks of its launch will get three exclusive items: “Athlete of Memories” outfit for Yumia, “Floating Object of Memories” attire for Flammi, and a distinctive “Training Wrist Weight” equipment.
On March 21 globally, the game “Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land” will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on PC.
