At this year’s Taipei Game Show, Gust unveiled a fresh overview trailer for “Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories and the Imagined Land”. This trailer provides insights into several facets of exploration, one of them being Energy. You can watch it right here.
Previously detailed, I, as a fan, find Yumia to possess remarkable abilities such as scaling buildings, double jumping, and even riding motorcycles. Yet, it’s her Energy that sets her apart – it lessens the impact of falls and empowers her to synthesize basic items. This Energy is crucial for venturing into Manabound Areas filled with formidable enemies and lucrative rewards. Noteworthy locations offer Energy boosts in exchange for Prisms, expanding its capacity, enhancing collection, and minimizing Energy drain from falls.
Distinct elements of exploration also encompass ancient ruins concealing precious artifacts and resources, the resurgence of self-generating synthesis, and awe-inspiring adversaries during combat, capable of dealing increased damage. Using an ample amount of items in battle triggers Mana Burst for enhanced, spectacular attacks.
On March 21st, Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories and the Visualized Realm will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and personal computers.
