Following a hands-on experience with Rebellion Entertainment’s game Atomfall, the developer subsequently unveiled some authentic footage demonstrating combat and stealth from a seasoned point of view. In this mission, players traverse Casterfell Woods in search of the enigmatic Mother Jago who requests your assistance to retrieve her valuable herbalism book.
The challenge lies with the Druids, who are reluctant to accept strangers. However, the only apparent approach seems to be an intrusion into their settlement, aiming to gradually eliminate them using various weapons such as firearms, arrows, or throwing knives. This act isn’t mandatory but serves to demonstrate the skill of killing anyone within the game world of Atomfall.
When retrieving the book for Mother Jago, she suggests an opportunity for escape from pain. Though it appears as a way to break the quarantine (one of your character’s objectives), there’s a sense of foreboding surrounding what she might suggest. The scene concludes with this suspenseful note, but if you choose not to heed Mother Jago or even harm her, that decision is yours to make.
On March 27th, the game titled “Atomfall” will be released for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms, all of which are also available on Game Pass. For a detailed look at what this game offers, feel free to read our feature article.
