Rebellion Developments’ upcoming game, “Sniper Elite: Resistance,” hits shelves on January 30th, but their next major release, “Atomfall,” seems even more enticing. This post-nuclear survival action title has just released a new overview trailer, providing a glimpse into the storyline, main character, and what players can anticipate. You can watch it below.
In the time following the Windscale incident of 1957, the protagonist finds themselves stirring to consciousness in close proximity to a sealed-off hamlet. Their mission involves navigating the oppressive regime that occupies the village, as well as encountering B.A.R.D robots. To uncover their forgotten past, they’ll need to engage with non-player characters, piece together leads (without a traditional quest system), and gather clues along the way. Needless to say, the world is fraught with tension between cults, B.A.R.D. strongholds, and mutated creatures.
Users have the opportunity to find and enhance various types of weaponry, ranging from cricket bats to firearms. Finding ammunition might be challenging at times, requiring self-manufacturing. At other instances, you may need to search for resources (and in such cases, a metal detector proves useful).
