Atomic Heart DLC ‘Enchantment Under the Sea’ launches January 28, 2025

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that the announcement of the “Enchantment Under the Sea” DLC for Atomic Heart has me absolutely thrilled! The original game was a standout title in 2023, and I can’t wait to dive deeper into its captivating world.

The downloadable content for “Atomic Heart,” titled “Enchantment Under the Sea,” is set to release on January 28, 2025, as confirmed by publishers Focus Entertainment and developers Mundfish.

Here is an overview of the downloadable content, via Mundfish:

Look for Answers in the Depths of Facility 3826

In “Enchantment Under the Sea,” you’ll revisit the thrilling battle sequences that put Atomic Heart on the map as a standout game of 2023. As you progress through the main story, the Twins’ consciousness guides you, and you’ll acquire fresh weapons to aid you in your journey.

Delve into the enigmas hidden within the Neptune Research Center’s depths, encountering both fresh and recurring figures. Your mission: discover a means to prevent mankind from facing a bleak future. Additionally, you’ll re-explore places like Facility 3826, such as the once-floating city of Chelomey, now completely under the robots’ command.

New Weapons and Glove Abilities to Dismantle New Threats and Bosses

With new challenges comes the need for new tricks! In addition to the expanded storyline, season pass owners get two new weapons: the Thunderclap, a powerful hammer that amps up damage with electrical current, and the KM-4 Kuzmich, a crowd-clearing double-barrel shotgun with customizable bullet spread. They’re complemented by two new glove abilities courtesy of the Twins: Blaze, a burning polymer skill letting players drop red-hot fireballs and deal area-of-effect damage; and Whip, a grapple-hook tool allowing P-3 to pull himself towards enemies, deal damage, dodge away from danger, and access previously unreachable areas.

These newly acquired abilities will prove useful when confronting the downloadable content’s array of underwater adversaries, ranging from groups of coral-born mutants to the daunting MOR-4Y.

Right now, you can grab a hold of the game “Atomic Heart” on platforms such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, earlier versions like PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, or on your personal computer through Steam.
