As a dedicated fan who has witnessed Levi Ackerman’s epic journey through the frozen landscapes of Attack on Titan, I can confidently say that his character has become an indelible part of my anime-loving heart. From his ruthless efficiency to his complex relationships, Levi’s story is a testament to resilience and redemption.
Among the countless characters born from the anime universe of “Attack on Titan,” none has captured my heart quite like Levi Ackerman. Even without inheriting Titan powers due to being an Ackerman, he proved time and again to be a formidable force, posing significant threats to Marley and eventually Eren Jaeger. As the epic anime series concludes its narrative in both the animated adaptation and original manga, it seems that Isayama has no new manga projects brewing at the moment. But fear not, Hajime continues to create stunning works of art showcasing these beloved characters we adore.
In the final episode of Attack on Titan, viewers witnessed Levi’s miraculous survival against the Founding Titan and the Rumbling, despite being severely injured by his longtime adversary Zeke Jaeger. Despite the devastation to his body, the tenacious Ackerman soldier persisted in joining the fray. After Eren’s demise, fans were given a glimpse into Levi’s future, where he could finally retire his swords and focus on assisting people in an entirely new capacity. The impact that Levi will leave on the anime world is expected to linger for quite some time.
Levi x Sauna: A New Generation
One aspiration of Hajime Isayama has been to personally own a sauna, frequently depicting characters from his Scout Regiment series relaxing inside saunas within his artwork. Given this, it’s not surprising that Isayama would situate Captain Levi within such an environment again. Even though Eren and Levi were sworn enemies at the story’s conclusion, Isayama invites us to reminisce about their more amicable past together.

Captain Levi has recently returned to prominence following the release of the art book titled “Attack on Titan: Fly“. This book is set for distribution in North America and includes the short story “Bad Boy”, offering a glimpse into Levi’s past well before he joined the Survey Corps. In the not-too-distant future, we can expect to see Levi and his associates back on our screens with “Attack on Titan: The Last Attack“. This isn’t a new film but rather a compilation of the final episodes combined into one large movie.
