Will Attack on Titan Return?
Despite Hajime Isayama’s firm stance against a sequel for the gruesome “Attack on Titan” anime, the mangaka has revisited the world of the Survey Corps. The recent addition to this universe is titled “Attack on Titan: Bad Boy“, a short story that delves into Captain Levi’s early days. This Levi, battling to stay alive before he wielded his swords, presents a harsh and brutal narrative similar to the main series, yet without the central focus being the Titans themselves.
In simple terms, the ending of Attack on Titan hinted at a possible continuation. After Eren Jaeger’s demise, and set in a distant future, a puzzling child discovered Eren’s resting place, seemingly restarting the eternal cycle. The final scene suggests that the world may never be rid of Titans entirely, implying an ongoing struggle rather than introducing a new narrative for the universe.
