The initial season of “Star Wars: The Acolyte” has concluded, yet there are more exciting live-action Star Wars productions to anticipate this year. Among them is “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew,” slated for release on Disney+ in December, featuring stars like Jude Law and Kerry Condon. This upcoming show follows a band of kids trying to find their way home, set five years after “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.” Interestingly, Jude Law has hinted that the series will be filled with Star Wars-themed Easter eggs.

As a devoted fan, I’m excitedly immersed in Marvel’s DOOM Era, thanks to the gripping twists of the ongoing “Blood Hunt” crossover storyline in Marvel Comics. It turns out that Eric Roberts, also known as Blade, has been under the control of Varnae, an ancient Atlantean sorcerer who was the first vampire and once commanded all of vampire-kind before Dracula rose to power. Using Blade as his puppet, Varnae tapped into the Darkforce Dimension’s power, casting a shadow over the sun that allows vampires to feed without restriction.

In contrast to many horror franchises returning after a long hiatus, which often focus only on the initial film, director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson has clarified that the upcoming “I Know What You Did Last Summer” will not follow this pattern. On Twitter, Kaytin Robinson addressed a rumor about the narrative direction, revealing that the new movie will acknowledge at least one of the original film’s sequels, possibly even both. The new “I Know What You Did Last Summer” is scheduled for release in theaters on July 18, 2025.

On August 1st, an update for “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre” game is set to be released by Gun Media. They’ve already unveiled the full details about the changes coming with this new version. Building upon the July update focused on Grandpa, the developers are making significant adjustments to this character again. The previous update aimed at encouraging family players to focus more on Grandpa, and it looks like this one will follow suit. The upcoming changes involve tweaking various perks of the character, with some becoming accessible at lower levels and others receiving a boost in power compared to their original versions.

At San Diego Comic-Con 2024, Viz Media unveiled the covers for upcoming twists on “Superior Spider-Man” and “X-Men: The Animated Series.” These include “Spider-Man: Octo-Girl” and “X-Men: The Manga: Remastered,” which are set to release on October 8th and November 12th respectively. Notably, Viz Media also announced a crossover manga between Ultraman and Spider-Man titled “Ultraman: Along Came a Spider.”

As a die-hard Marvel fan, I can’t contain my excitement about next year when one of the Thunderbolts team members will be sporting a fresh new look in the upcoming movie.
