2024 has been a challenging year for Microsoft’s gaming sector, mirroring trends across the wider industry. However, it appears that more changes are on the horizon. According to Game File, Microsoft is planning to reduce its workforce in the gaming division by another 650 positions. This decision was confirmed by Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, in an email sent out to company employees today.
In January 2023, the co-CEOs of DC Studios, James Gunn and Peter Safran, unveiled their plan for the future of the DC entertainment franchise to the world. This plan, known as the new DCU, includes movies like Superman, The Brave and the Bold, Swamp Thing, and The Authority, as well as television shows such as Lanterns, Creature Commandos, Booster Gold, Waller, and Paradise Lost. Now, with the Creature Commandos show set to debut on Max on December 5th, fans of DC may get more insights into the future of the DCU through the show’s New York Comic Con panel. Gunn has announced via social media that he, along with the cast members of Creature Commandos including Frank Grillo, David Harbour, Zoe Chao, Sean Gunn, Dean. Lorey, and Steve Agee, will be participating in a panel at NYCC on October 19th, where they will share details about their monster army and the early stages of the DCU.
In the original “Beetlejuice”, there’s a lot of interaction between the living world and the realm of the dead, so it’s no wonder that “Beetlejuice: Beetlejuice” also incorporates death as an essential aspect of life. Writers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar have shared that while some characters met their end in the film, one actor proposed that their character commit suicide, but this idea was rejected as it was deemed too tragic for the overall lighthearted tone. However, they did acknowledge that it was a fantastic concept, simply not suitable for the movie’s overall atmosphere. “Beetlejuice: Beetlejuice” is currently showing in theaters now.
Fans of the popular Dragon Ball franchise have been speculating about potential plot developments for “Dragon Ball Daima” since its promotional materials were unveiled. The latest trailer has confirmed that the Demon Realm, a recurring location in the Dragon Ball Heroes series, will significantly impact Goku’s upcoming journey. Given the Demon Realm’s history in the spin-off series, it seems likely that characters from the underworld might appear in the main series. With Towa and Mira playing significant roles in Heroes, there’s a high probability we’ll see them in October.
