In the upcoming movie “1992” (2024), Scott Eastwood, famed for his action hero roles in films such as “Suicide Squad”, “Pacific Rim Uprising”, and the “Fast Saga”, steps into a more dramatic role. This film stars Tyrese Gibson as a man residing in inner-city Los Angeles, whose life spirals out of control during the LA Riots that broke out following the Rodney King verdict. As the city erupts into chaos, a group of thieves, led by the late Ray Liotta, attempt a daring heist; however, they unexpectedly encounter Tyrese’s character and his son in their path.

Despite Francis Ford Coppola’s movie “Megalopolis” not being released yet, it has already sparked plenty of discussion, particularly with its recent trailer. This trailer started a buzz when it seemed to display critic quotes from films like “The Godfather” and “Apocalypse Now,” but upon closer inspection, these quotes were discovered to be fabricated, originally attributed to renowned film critics such as Pauline Kael and Roger Ebert. Soon after the release of the new “Megalopolis” trailer, its distributor Lionsgate acknowledged their mistake and decided to withdraw the trailer entirely, expressing regret to both the misquoted critics and Coppola himself.

The seventh season of My Hero Academia is intensifying with Izuku Midoriya’s climactic battle against Tomura Shigaraki. This anime has recently designated Deku as the most valuable player (MVP) of the season, following his remarkable confrontation against the villain. In the current storyline, My Hero Academia is adapting the final conflicts between heroes and villains, as the war has resulted in significant casualties among the heroes. Shigaraki targeted key heroes to inflict maximum damage on Deku, but his efforts were met with a fierce response from Deku after witnessing Bakugo being injured.
