Game Boy Color-Inspired Analogue Pocket Designs Revealed

After its debut in 2021, the Analogue Pocket has undergone multiple redesigns, such as translucent and glow-in-the-dark versions. This week, the handheld gaming system is set to release several new designs inspired by the Game Boy Color era. The GBC Colors edition, available this week, offers colors that mimic those initially offered by Nintendo for the Game Boy Color in 1998: Berry, Kiwi, Grape, Teal, and Dandelion. Furthermore, a Gold version will also be available. All six designs are priced at $249.99 each. It’s worth noting that these options will be sold in limited quantities!

Deadpool & Wolverine Concept Art Reveals Unused Weapon X Variant

The recently unveiled concept art of Deadpool and Wolverine showcases the Weapon X version that Marvel Studios has developed for the upcoming movie. On Instagram, Phil J. Saunders shared his tribute to Barry Windsor Smith’s original design. Back then, there was a wealth of fantastic Wolverine artwork being produced. This time around, Andy Park and Saunders focused on bringing Weapon X to life in live-action. The artist discussed the challenges of designing the helmet and maintaining Hugh Jackman’s iconic mutant’s aggressive stance for this variant.

La Borinqueña Finally Getting a Hardcover Collection, Action Figures

Edgardo Miranda-Rodriguez, winner of the Bob Clampett Humanitarian Award at Comic Con International and renowned graphic novelist and philanthropist, has unveiled La Borinque?a Volume 1, a compiled hardcover edition of over 300 pages from his initial four graphic novels. To complement the launch, Somos Artes (Miranda-Rodriguez’s publishing company) has also disclosed plans for a collection of action figures showcasing La Borinque?a and her secondary characters. Both the hardcover edition and the action figures are now up for pre-order by retailers this month, with a proposed release during the holiday season (the exact date is still undecided).
