A fresh poster for “Joker: Madness Part 2” depicts the Joker and Harley Quinn locked in a gaze. The upcoming sequel to the 2019’s Joker, featuring Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn, is set to hit theaters later this year. This new installment delves deeper into the chaos surrounding Arthur Fleck, portrayed by Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker. Warner Bros. Pictures has recently released a new trailer for “Joker: Madness Part 2”, and the latest poster hints at providing fans with more of the infamous Clown Prince of Crime and Harleen Quinzel.
The second installment of a trilogy titled “28 Years Later,” as per producer Andrew Macdonald, is currently being produced. During a talk at the Edinburgh Film Festival, Macdonald shared that filming for “28 Years Later” has been completed, and there are plans to create additional two movies, all written by Alex Garland and produced by Danny Boyle. At the same event, Macdonald and Garland announced that not only is production on “28 Years Later” finished, but work on the subsequent films is already advancing even before the first film hits theaters.
In 2023 at Star Wars Celebration, Lucasfilm revealed that Dave Filoni was creating a film linking the occurrences of all series happening during The New Republic era, such as The Mandalorian, Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett, and Star Wars: Ahsoka. Prior to this, Jon Favreau is working on the movie titled The Mandalorian & Grogu, but it appears that Boba Fett actor Temuera Morrison has denied rumors that it will be a massive crossover event, as he stated he hasn’t been contacted about the project yet. Whether he’s being secretive or waiting for Filoni’s film to reappear in the galaxy far, far away is still unknown. The Mandalorian & Grogu is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 22, 2026.
