Just yesterday, Sony unveiled an impressive list of upcoming PS5 and PS4 titles, many of which will be available for us to enjoy in a matter of days. The lineup features highly anticipated games like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Cult of the Lamb, and three games from the TimeSplitters series. Already, September’s offerings are shaping up to be quite impressive.

It’s rumored that Tim Miller, director of Deadpool, along with Blur Studio, are working on a new animated series tentatively titled Secret Level. As per reports from Deadline, this series is being developed for Amazon’s Prime Video and will function as an anthology, focusing on different video games. At the moment, the project has yet to be officially confirmed, so specific details are scarce. However, Deadline hints that Spelunky and New World (which is owned by Amazon) could potentially be featured in the series. There’s also a possibility that franchises belonging to PlayStation might make an appearance, but no particular titles have been specified yet.

Two renowned comic book creators, Jonathan Hickman and Greg Capullo, are breathing new life into the character Wolverine. In the upcoming miniseries titled “Wolverine: Revenge“, these collaborators will reimagine Logan’s battles against numerous enemies in a brutal, universe-spanning adventure. Post his stint with the X-Men franchise, Hickman has been instrumental in reshaping the dynamics between science and magic in G.O.D.S., as well as initiating the relaunch of the Ultimate Universe and scripting Ultimate Spider-Man. On the other hand, Capullo is back with Marvel after a 30-year hiatus, where he’s been creating covers for Wolverine and Deadpool. Now, we get to witness what these creative powerhouses have in store for our favorite mutant, Wolverine.

Boasting over 500 million copies, “One Piece” is an undeniable giant in the world of manga. This popular “Shonen Jump” series has navigated the seas for many years, and during its tenure, other series have risen to fame. For example, “Naruto” entered the scene after “One Piece” had started, and somehow managed to achieve global success even before Eiichiro Oda’s pirate story. Interestingly, some prominent editors at “Shonen Jump” attribute “Naruto’s” success over “One Piece” to its more dramatic narrative.

As the Marvel Comics and Movie Universe keep growing, so does the comprehensive Marvel Encyclopedia. On October 8, the new edition of the MARVEL Encyclopedia by DK will be released, with over 1,200 characters and numerous extended entries detailing updates since the 2019 version. The book is available in a regular and collector’s edition, containing all the essential information fans need about Marvel comics and the characters that have driven the growth of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
