Horror is no stranger to the anime world though it is quite lacking in comparison to the way that the genre has overtaken Hollywood. When one thinks of horror related to the medium, there is one name that anime fans will routinely drift to when they think of the best examples of spooky manga series, Junji Ito. Thanks to the popularity of the mangaka’s works, Ito has received past anime adaptations of his work but Adult Swim, Production I.G., and Studio Drive are looking to change the game. WWE NXT keeps growing stronger. Originally debuting in 2010 as a series for training new talents, WWE NXT spent some time on SyFy and WWE’s website before undergoing significant changes led by WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, transforming it into WWE’s developmental territory. WWE NXT was officially rebooted on the WWE Network in February 2014, broadcasting a weekly hour-long show and quarterly NXT Takeover events. This success led WWE to treat WWE NXT as a third brand, similar to WWE Monday Night Raw and WWE SmackDown, and transfer the program to cable television. Since fall 2019, WWE NXT has been airing live on USA Network and hasn’t slowed down since then.

This morning, it was sadly announced that Maggie Smith, most recognized for her iconic portrayal of Professor Minerva McGonagall in the Harry Potter movie franchise, had passed away. As we approach Halloween, the chilling season of horror movies is fast approaching, and there’s plenty of spine-tingling content on the horizon. Kicking off this week, a fresh indie horror flick titled “Beezel” is making its premiere on home video. Produced by Epic Films and Social House Films, the latter being the horror team of writer/director Aaron Fradkin and writer/actress Victoria Fratz Fradkin, who stars in “Beezel“.
