2020’s open-world samurai game “Ghost of Tsushima” by Sucker Punch has won over many since its unveiling. After four years on the shelves, excitement for a follow-up has skyrocketed. Now, it’s been made official! Sony opted to conclude their latest State of Play broadcast with the sequel’s announcement.

On February 28th, 2025, Capcom is releasing the global launch of Monster Hunter Wilds. This action-packed game will be playable on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms. Sony has unveiled the selection of fresh games for both PS5 and PS4 that will be offered free to all PlayStation Plus members in October. To be honest, September 2024 was a particularly impressive month for PlayStation Plus, offering games like Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, MLB The Show 24, and Little Nightmares 2 at no charge. In a recent announcement, Sony and Sucker Punch Productions revealed plans for a spin-off titled Ghost of Y?tei, following up on the success of their 2020 release, Ghost of Tsushima. While the original game centered around Jin Sakai as its protagonist, the new game will introduce a fresh character: Atsu. This week also saw the unveiling of the first trailer for the upcoming sequel, which was confirmed to be among several games set to benefit from enhanced performance on the PlayStation 5 Pro console.
