In a succession of posts on X, Tyson explicitly stated that she had never engaged in grooming behavior in the past. Nevertheless, she acknowledged her past regrettable social media content and questionable actions, which she described as “outdated humor” and “insensitive jokes.” Consequently, Tyson issued an apology, providing additional context for why she departed from MrBeast’s channel after being a long-term member.
Tyson stated, “I’ve never groomed anyone, as clearly expressed by @LavaGS themselves. However, I deeply regret any pain caused through my past social media posts and actions. It is wrong to conflate these issues and portray my behavior as more serious than it was. I acknowledge that my old humor is no longer acceptable. Although I cannot change my past, I am committed to personal growth. I don’t want these accusations to negatively impact the team at MrBeast, so I have decided to step aside.”
At present, Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, hasn’t publicly commented on the ongoing situation with Tyson.
