Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Might Get Director’s Cut Re-Release – Rumourn

Ubisoft could potentially reintroduce their open-world adventure game, “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora,” through a Director’s Cut edition. However, there has been no official word from the company about this possibility. The hint comes from a social media post by Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming.

It’s expected that a Special Edition of “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora” will probably feature all previously released downloadable content, along with potential fresh material and improvements specifically designed for this version.

The game titled “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora” was launched as far back as December 2023. Since then, Ubisoft has continued to provide it with updates, enhancing its features, such as a 40 FPS mode on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and also offering substantial expansions in the form of “The Sky Breaker” and “Secrets of the Spire”.

The game is set approximately eight years prior to the storyline of the first Avatar film, focusing on a group of five young Na’vi characters: Sarentu (the player), Ri’nela, Aha’ri, Teylan, and Nor. They are under the tutelage of Dr. Alma Cortez and John Mercer, preparing to become representatives for both Na’vi and humans. However, events don’t unfold as planned, leading the Na’vi children to flee their training facility.
