As a dedicated fan who’s been eagerly awaiting new adventures in Pandora since the original Avatar movie graced our screens, I must say, Massive Entertainment has not disappointed with their latest offering – Secrets of the Spires. This expansion takes me back to those magical moments when I first soared through Pandora on my Ikran, and it feels like a breath of fresh Na’vi air.
Massive Entertainment’s second story expansion for “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora,” titled “Secrets of the Spires,” has been released after a brief postponement. This new adventure takes you to a fresh location, the Spires within the Clouded Forest, and continues the main game’s storyline. For those just joining in, you can dive right into the DLC by choosing “Anufi’s Favor” from your Quest Log, bypassing the initial narrative.
In Secrets of the Spires, we encounter a fresh Na’vi clan, similar to the storyline in The Sky Breaker. Once again, the Resources Development Administration (RDA) is causing trouble. This area boasts numerous canyons and caves with lots of vertical terrain, and you’ll master new flying skills for your Ikran to combat RDA air forces. Additionally, a new mounted weapon becomes available to you.
The game titled “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora” is now playable on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and personal computers. With the recent update, enhancements such as PS5 Pro compatibility have been introduced. However, developers Massive have yet to confirm if there will be additional content for this open-world game. Keep an eye out for any possible announcements in the coming days.
