This map guides you to a remarkable shield of legend – a rare, superior-quality shield with powers unlike any other found in the surrounding areas. Here’s how to get your hands on both the treasure map and the Earthy Aegis itself.
Where to find the Earthy Aegis treasure map
The Earthy Aegis treasure map is hidden within the Naku Tedek Grounds. If you follow the path south from the Naku Tedek Party Camp, you’ll come across an array of abandoned merchant stalls. Move past these and look for a tree root that seems to be growing towards a hollow in some ancient ruins nearby. Give it a leap, and there you’ll discover the treasure map!
Where to find the Earthy Aegis
The Earthy Aegis is situated on the eastern edge of The Delemgan Glade, nestled within some small, circular ruins. These ruins are near the Rock Arch Beacon fast travel point; however, you’ll need to venture north because the ruins are positioned above the fast travel point. Upon reaching the ruins, utilize the tree root that encircles the structure as a pathway to the exterior of the ruins, providing a viewpoint overlooking the cliff.
Peering through the exterior of the building, one can spot a treasure chest inside. Near this entrance, there’s a switch; activating it opens a secret door on the opposite side, granting access to the ruins so that the treasure can be retrieved.
The treasure in question is referred to as Nature’s Ward Shield, possessing two inherent capabilities. The first one is Spiked Brambles, which redirects any physical damage it deflects back to the aggressor. Secondly, it features a Purging ability that has a 50% chance of eliminating poison when you are afflicted with this debilitating status effect.
