Avowed: How To Set Up Camp

Looking forward to pitching your tent in Avowed? Dive into our fundamental guide for valuable insights on discovering the optimal areas for some well-deserved relaxation.

This game, Avowed, immerses you in the perilous realm of the Living Lands. Every step could potentially be your last due to the numerous threats lurking around every bend. Yet, finding a safe spot to establish your camp offers an opportunity for total restoration of Health and Essence. In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through the process of setting up camp in Avowed.

How Can You Set Up Camp in Avowed?

When embarking on a camping trip, it’s essential to understand that you can’t pitch your tent anywhere you desire. Instead, there are designated areas marked on the map where you can establish your campsite. These locations are easily identifiable by large Adra stones protruding from the ground. Approach one of these stones and engage with it to prepare your camp for the night.

It’s worth mentioning that establishing your first camp at a specific location allows for quick transportation back to that site (with exceptions where fast travel might not be an option). Plus, setting up camp doesn’t cost any resources, making it a handy solution when you’re running low on healing supplies or have used up all your potions and items.

Why Is Camping Important?

Once you’ve established your campsite, you’ll find yourself with opportunities unique to this moment. For example, you can engage in meaningful conversations with your fellow travelers, deepening your understanding of them. You may also enhance your weapons and armor within the campsite. Other significant actions include storing unnecessary items and bestowing powerful abilities onto your gear. Additionally, you can access and activate any costumes you’ve unlocked for your companions at the campsite.

From your campsite, you’re able to create brand-new equipment as well. Here’s an in-depth tutorial on crafting items within the game of Avowed.

As a dedicated player of Avowed, I’ve found that once enemies are defeated during the day and you spend the night at a camp, they don’t return. This means there’s no disadvantage to setting up camp frequently. In fact, it provides an opportunity to use the resources I gather to consistently upgrade my weapons and armor, ensuring I’m always prepared for the challenges ahead!

Additionally, if you’re curious about leaving the camp, just walk beyond its perimeter. Doing so will prompt a message asking you if you’d like to wrap up the day and depart from the camp.
