Undoubtedly, Avowed is presently my preferred role-playing game, and it’s quite extraordinary. However, I haven’t tried Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 yet, so there’s a chance that might alter in the future.
In a nutshell, every new launch nowadays has its share of problems, and Avowed is no exception, regretfully. We’re here to discuss the list of known bugs, glitches, and other troubles players might encounter. This list encompasses not just our own issues but also any additional concerns that may arise over the coming fortnight.
No bounty trophies
Amongst our team, this issue seems to come up quite often. Several team members have experienced a bug related to quest-ending bounties. Not only have we all encountered some form of this problem, but in many cases, the same issue has affected different team members. In most instances, after defeating the bounty, the trophy fails to appear for collection, as if it never existed in the first place.
In the scenario known as the Yellowband Bounty, your mission involves tracking down a group hidden to the east of Paradis. Your objective is to eliminate each member of this group and retrieve their distinctive armbands. These armbands might or might not appear in the game for players.
During my gameplay, I managed to eliminate every crew member without first claiming the bounty. I scavenged as many armbands as I could and eventually came across the bounty notice board. When I attempted to submit the quest, it informed me that I was still missing the armbands.
Initially, I possessed four, but later realized I required five. Upon returning to my campsite, however, I failed to locate an additional armband for collection, which seemed odd as these slain individuals typically continue to yield loot post-encounter.
Previous occurrences of this bug were noted during the missions known as Urvolnau and The Sporeking’s Rewards.
Solution: Regrettably, at this point, the best option is to revert to an earlier save game. After doing so, I recommend gathering the bounty initially, then returning to collect all five armbands. Should you encounter a similar issue with any other bounty, it appears that this solution works in those instances as well.
Can’t level companions

This issue is quite frustrating and significantly impacts a teammate’s gaming experience. Whenever they try to access the leveling menu for their companions, the game freezes, preventing them from leveling those characters.
If you’re having trouble with your Xbox, try navigating to the home screen and then back as a potential solution. Alternatively, you could attempt to fast travel within the game.
An Untimely End bug

In the Final Moment, the player is faced with a decision: either eliminate the assassin or grant them freedom. However, even if you choose to let them go, there’s a chance that combat will ensue, making your choice irrelevant in that case. On the other hand, opting to kill the assassin also results in engaging in a fight.
Allowing your own demise appears to be an effective solution, as it would accurately record in the journal that you chose not to apprehend the assassin.
Inexorable doom – falling through the world

A problem that occasionally arises is buildings not loading properly. Should a player find themselves in this unlucky spot and venture near the affected area, they may experience an unwanted and persistent death, falling through the game world with no chance of recovery. Essentially, they’ll be flying towards a demise that remains perpetual.
Solution: Reload and try again. Skill issue, really.
Cannot speak to quest-related NPCs

We’ve encountered situations where some quests can’t be finished. Earlier I pointed out bounties as one such case, but players have also run into quests that can’t be completed due to dialogue problems. Particularly when trying to interact with an NPC necessary for progressing the quest, they find they can’t engage them in conversation.
If you recognize this NPC as someone you’ve talked to before, here’s what you might want to do: Go back to a point where you haven’t spoken with them yet, in your most recent save. It appears that the quest could be malfunctioning due to discussing topics out of sequence with this NPC. This suggestion, while unverified, could potentially resolve dialogue-related issues with your quest.
