Bachelor Fans Shocked by Grant’s Final Four Picks

Grant Ellis is one step closer to his happy ending.

In the episode that aired on February 24, the host of The Bachelor season 29 made his selection down to the last four contestants in Scotland. The quartet comprising Zoe McGrady, Litia Garr, Dina Lupancu, and Juliana Pasquarosa advanced to the series’ hometown visits segment. However, Grant didn’t hand out his final four roses without a dramatic build-up prior to it.

Although Alexa-Anne Godwin had set herself apart as a strong contender from the very beginning of the season and even received the first impression rose, she was ultimately eliminated, leaving many Bachelor fans disheartened.

As one fan wrote to X, “Shocked I literally thought Alexe was kinda end game.”

Indeed, Grant had hinted at this earlier in the season when he said to TopMob News that the night was particularly special for Alexe, suggesting that she might have been his only choice for the first impression rose. He mentioned, “I’m not sure if I even had any alternatives that night.

Rest assured; some fans are already vying for Alexe to be the next star of The Bachelorette.

Additionally, Sarafiena Watkins and Carolina Sofia were eliminated as well. However, viewers were particularly glad to see Carolina leave, following her dramatic episodes throughout the season. After all, Carolina’s behavior this season has been quite reminiscent of a villain on The Bachelor for season 29, frequently causing conflict in order to attract Grant’s attention and affection.

And during the Feb. 24 episode, she even created a theme song to go along with her persona.

On a group date with the main figure, Carolina was criticized for her behavior by Zoe, Dina, Sarafiena, and Alexe-Anne. In response, Carolina left the room, humming to herself, “Apparently, I’m insane and wicked!

As a lover of all things Bachelor Nation, I was taken aback when Zoe unexpectedly received a rose, given her somewhat scarce one-on-one moments with Grant.

One viewer conveyed their surprise by saying, “If anyone believed Zoe would receive a hometown date over Alexe, Sarafiena, or even Carolina, I’d guess they’ve been privy to the spoilers for this season, as this twist is quite unexpected, isn’t it?

Indeed, Grant managed to ease Zoe’s apprehensions about returning home before the rose ceremony well before the event started. During their conversation earlier in the show, when Zoe shared her dissatisfaction over their time together with the Bachelor himself, he confidently declared that his feelings for her were clear, stating “A single conversation is all it takes.

Regarding what’s in store for their respective hometown visits, Litia has given Grant a sneak peek into her Mormon background during their trip to Utah. Additionally, the ex-basketball player will accompany Zoe to New York City (The Big Apple), Dina to Chicago, and Juliana to Massachusetts.

In the recent episode, Grant faced some challenging choices, but earlier on, he’d expressed being utterly amazed by all the women from his season.

He shared with Good Morning America last month that everyone was sincere, each individual was distinct, and all were ready to be transparent. There’s a touch of drama – after all, it arises when feelings are involved – but ultimately, he believes we will find a solution.
