In the whirlwind world of reality TV love stories, few have captured hearts and imaginations quite like the journey of Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk. With a proposal that would make any romantic swoon, these two have proven that sometimes, fairy tales do come true.
Forget final roses, Clare Crawley handed out her marriage certificate.
Approximately a year following Ryan Dawkins’ wedding in California as part of Bachelor Nation, she disclosed that their union is now officially recognized by law.
On October 6, a post was shared featuring Clare and Ryan, proud parents of their 8-month-old daughter Rowan. In the image, they are seen embracing as Rowan playfully kicks her leg and brandishes a license. Clare later added that in 2023, they had hastily arranged their first wedding so that Rowan’s grandmother, who is battling dementia, could be present for the special occasion.
In an instant, we abandoned all our previous plans and within a week, my wonderful event planner husband expertly arranged the most charming intimate wedding ceremony,” the 43-year-old penned. “It was flawless in every aspect, and my mother graced us with her presence on our big day. I couldn’t have asked for anything more heartwarming.
Upon exchanging our “I dos,” my partner and I experienced two significant milestones – the arrival of our little girl and the purchase of our home. Once life had calmed down a bit, we came to a startling realization: we had inadvertently overlooked one crucial piece of paperwork.
It wasn’t until a few months ago that Ryan and I discovered, amid the chaos of the year, we hadn’t obtained our official marriage license,” she wrote. “Given how emotional and perfect our first ceremony was, we decided to turn the process of getting the real license into an unforgettable, joyful day! And so, we headed to Las Vegas! We chose a Pink Cadillac, The Little White Chapel, and who else but Elvis to officiate! It was an incredible experience, and now I am proudly Mrs. Dawkins.
Approximately a year following their nuptials at the location of their initial kiss in Sacramento, California, which occurred in 2022, Clare and Ryan participated in The Little White Chapel wedding ceremony.
Following the February 2023 ceremony, Clare announced the news along with photos from the special day on Instagram, saying, “Now Mr. and Mrs. Dawkins!
In the next January, the pair embarked on a fresh phase of life as parents when Rowan arrived, delivered through a surrogate.
For Clare, who first appeared on Bachelor Nation back in 2014, it’s a relief to have eventually found her fairy tale ending following her quest for love on television.
The hairdresser, who was once engaged to Dale Moss, shared with TopMob News in October 2022 that she is certain her current partner is her soulmate. She expressed her happiness at having him by her side and stated that she would have waited an infinite amount of time for their engagement, even if they never got engaged, just to have him a part of her life has been an immense blessing.

To remind themselves of where their journey started, they merely have to pass through their Dallas residence’s master bedroom. That’s where the graphic designer has beautifully displayed the last rose that season 17’s Bachelor offered her in the Thai forest back in late 2012, just after he pledged to express his love for her daily from then on.
Catherine expressed to Entertainment Tonight in 2017 that it was logical to preserve this unique item as it came with a ring and a proposal, making it extremely significant. The last rose ceremony, marked by an elephant ride and a $75,000 Neil Lane diamond, is just as much a part of their narrative as the peaceful suburban life they later built together, complete with children Samuel (age 5), Isaiah (age 3), and Mia (age 2). She stated, “We don’t want to hide the fact that we got engaged and fell in love on The Bachelor,” implying that the only red rose she will keep in her home is the one symbolizing their engagement.
Initially, Trista Sutter, known as The Original Bachelorette, demonstrated that spending time in the mansion could result in love, marriage, and even ‘Bachelor’ offspring. As the author revealed to Us Weekly, her season was filmed for approximately three months, or 12 weeks. In contrast, her season was shot in just six weeks. Consequently, she met Ryan, got engaged, married within a year of knowing him for only six weeks. This was how it used to be on the show.
It’s not likely many have forgotten the moment when the divorced father sweetly proposed to Melissa Rycroft on The Bachelor; the dramatic switcheroo from 2009 is still remembered as one of the show’s most jaw-dropping moments. However, if happiness prevails and love conquers all, what truly matters is that the Seattle couple, parents to daughter Riley, celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in February.
In the classic style of The Bachelor, Tennessee native Peyton instantly recognized her future spouse when they first met. However, it wasn’t during season 10 with lead Andy Baldwin. Approximately four years later, in 2010, the Bachelor Pad alum encountered Chris, who had recently appeared as Ali Fedotowsky’s runner-up. She later shared with People that he was authentic, sociable, and funny, and they immediately connected.
For as much as the wedding dress designer seemed to key in on Brooks Forester during her 2013 season, it was sweet mortgage lender Chris and his thoughtful prose that proved to be the perfect fit. More than seven years after their L.A. vows (during which the Desiree Hartsock Bridal designer wore two of her own original creations) they’re settled in Portland, Oregon, with sons Asher, 5, and Zander, 3.
“If our life were a storybook I would be the damsel in distress,” the host of podcast Heart of Purpose surmised in a February 2020 post. “Chris would be the funny yet charming knight who saves the day, Asher would be the pragmatic problem solver while his little brother would be the carefree sidekick trying to kiss all the ladies!” And they would all enjoy a happy ending. As Desiree put it in a post acknowledging the choice of Clare Crawley as Bachelorette, “Reality TV worked for me!”
In the realm of success stories, the happily married couple from Paradise serve as a gold standard, inspiring countless dreamers to travel to Mexico with dreams of engagement rings reminiscent of Neil Lane and wedding vows officiated by Chris Harrison. The second season of the spin-off brought about both for this dynamic duo, and with their son Reed born in November 2020, they are now tied with the Bachlors for the most offspring. Jade penned a touching anniversary post in January, expressing that life can get hectic with their four-year-old daughter Emmy and two-year-old son Brooks by her side, but she wouldn’t trade this journey for anything other than being hand-in-hand with him, choosing him over a thousand others.
Initially, when the former Bachelor in Paradise contestant came back to the shores of Nayarit, he was cautious about approaching the finalist from The Bachelor, fearing that their lifestyles wouldn’t suit each other due to his nomadic nature. However, after almost three years (with a brief split and a serious ski accident in December 2019 that kept him bedridden for weeks), they are now blending surprisingly well, as he shared on his podcast Help! I Suck at Dating in October 2019. He admitted that he had underestimated their compatibility, stating that things were progressing smoothly. Primarily, he admires her witty humor and her ability to take his jokes. He also enjoys being able to be himself around her, as it brings a refreshing change.
Despite not proposing during the Neil Lane-sponsored event on Bachelor in Paradise in 2018, Kevin finally popped the question later that year in Toronto, where he and Astrid reside as a couple. Although they had initially planned to get married in her Florida hometown in November 2020, they’ve had to postpone due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, they are content with this decision, as it has given them more time to focus on their relationship rather than wedding details. Astrid shared on Instagram that she wouldn’t want to face 2020 and beyond with anyone else by her side. Now, back in full swing with the wedding planning, they will tie the knot this October, just weeks before their son August’s first birthday.
In August 2019, the couple from The Bachelorette chose to exchange vows not on the beaches of Nayarit, but atop the Royalton Suites Cancun. Instead of traditional red roses, they opted for elegant green and white florals. As shared with People, the bride expressed that their wedding was a reflection of them as a couple, built outside The Bachelorette experience, and they remained authentic to their true selves.
It’s safe to say that even the most optimistic fans of The Bachelorette didn’t foresee JoJo and Jordan reaching the altar, given the persistent whispers about Jordan’s questionable intentions before their After the Final Rose appearance in 2016. These rumors cast doubt on whether she would still be wearing her 3.75-carat Neil Lane diamond today. However, this isn’t the case because Jordan gifted JoJo an upgrade to her ring in August 2019. Despite having to cancel their summer 2020 wedding due to the pandemic (“I know it will be all the more worth the wait,” JoJo wrote about their would-be June day), they finally tied the knot in May 2022. “You make me laugh, love me endlessly, encourage me to be brave, and always, without fail, are my biggest cheerleader,” the native Texan wrote in a post on their fourth anniversary. “I can’t wait for what the rest of our lives have in store for us.
Ashley is the epitome of not taking notice of the typical signs he’s not that into you. Despite four years of being smitten with the man she instantly deemed her ideal mate, she was vindicated when they exchanged vows in August 2019 in Newport, RI. Just as committed as his bride, who gave birth to their son Dawson in January, Jared echoed these sentiments on Instagram, stating, “Ashley is my best friend, my soulmate, my one and only, and now my wife. I love this woman more deeply than language can convey.
Instead of requiring Neil Lane and an oceanic setting, this much creativity was sufficient for the Dallas-based real estate agent when proposing to his beloved in Paradise during May 2019. Adam shared with TopMob News how he turned a photoshoot setup for her online boutique into a surprising proposal. “She believed it was just an ordinary shooting day,” he explained, “But little did she know, I had planned to transform the helicopter pad on the rooftop into an unexpected engagement scene.” Raven had roses in hand and tossed their petals up for charming photos. Unaware of the impending proposal, she practiced a few times before the videographer handed the ring to Adam. Once Raven threw the petals, he dropped to one knee, momentarily losing consciousness but successfully delivering his heartfelt words.
Three months following our April 2021 wedding vows, I am thrilled to share a heartfelt announcement: I’m expecting our son, Gates! “Beyond ecstatic to spread this wonderful news!” I penned on social media. “I cherished you even before you were in my care!” In the chilly month of January 2022, Raven and I joyfully welcomed our child into our lives.
Initially, she was indecisive during the early stages of Paradise, torn between her feelings for Barbour and Blake Horstmann. However, once she made up her mind about the tech entrepreneur, she fully committed. Now this California pair are focusing on planning their dream wedding. While Barbour is keen on a good DJ and perhaps an In-N-Out food truck, Godwin is thinking long term.
After three years, Bachelor Arie who initially dumped Becca Kufrin on-air, is now happily married to her. They tied the knot in January 2019 in Hawaii, and have a 2-year-old daughter Alessi and 11-month-old twins Lux and Senna. Following a heartbreaking miscarriage in 2020, Arie gave Lauren an eternity band symbolizing their unwavering support for each other through tough times. This gesture earned him the title of “Husband of the Year” by his wife. However, when asked about it, Arie feels fortunate and content with his relationship with Lauren, stating that everything was worth it in the end.
